Yes! I just need to fix my Garage (or some spot in my house) which isn’t going to be easy… for example I just had another session at the arcade a few minutes ago because I don’t have anywhere in my home viable to play (I mean I could try to play when the kids are sleeping but then I might wake them up lmao) I honestly can’t wait to get this up and running so I can share not only my weight loss progress but also my custom step charts and songs that i’ve created over the years

@@SolEmeralds18 probably not the best idea but if the walls (eh, ceiling/floor) are thick enough and your apartment is carpeted it might work… probably won’t be neighbor of the year though 😭😭😂

Congrats! If you have any questions about modding, upkeep etc let me know. Also, a bit of advice: make sure all adults play in shoes, children are usually light enough that it doesn't matter but the co centrated force of an adult stepping on the panels barefoot makes them crack much more easily than with shoes. I'm really excited for you, I've seen you interested for a while and home play opens up so many new options.

Another thing, after finishing the video, with a bit more work your setup is actually not bad. I JUST got arcade pads the day this was posted, but I used a chair for a bar with my ltek for about a year and a half and it worked fine. Just make sure you can secure it with weights or jam it between the pads and something that can't move like a wall or stable furniture (what i did). A few of my friends say ballet bars work really well too, so buying one of those would work if you can't get a chair to be comfortable.

Did not know that thank you for the info! I only play with shoes on which is good but now I know not to play with out aha appreciate the info and support! I cannot wait to play some of the hundreds of sim files/charts i’ve created over the years and share them with my viewers! just need to figure out a permanent setup when I can have everything ONCE and not have to move it again (unless of course making adjustments or whatever) One quick question for you… do I need to tighten any of the screws after long periods of play? or should they be good for a while? (I play up to 16’s in DDR A charts and up to 12’s in the ITG charts)

Congratulations! This will be so awesome for you. I want to get an L Tek soon. I have my old cobalt flux, but that needs a lot of work unfortunately. Can't wait to see what the future brings with your new pads! Keep up the good work and thanks for the video as always!

Yeah I couldn’t believe my eyes when it said Miami which isn’t far from where I play DDR/SMX so I had to jump on it. Wish I didn’t have to buy both since i’ve been a bit short on cash but that was the only way he wanted to sell them 😂

Nice grab! I have an L-Tek, myself, with a bar bracket, included. I believe you can buy the bar kit from the manufacturer website, but keep in mind that it's a pain to set up, and it's a little bit wobbly, at least with how I have mine set up. Plus, the bar is a bit thinner than the actual DDR bar.

Thanks! I think i’m gonna build a bar with some steal pipes/tubes from lowe’s/home depot and go from there, I think it’ll take too long in the mail for a bar to come from the official company aha (also I need a bar on par with the DDR or SMX machine anything thinner won’t be good for me being so tall/heavy)

so far during my short testing (on and off camera) it seems to be working great (could be cause i’m almost 300 pounds so the weight of my body is pressing the buttons easier LOL)

Is this something that is 100% necessary? i've seen a bunch of people talk about this "penny mod"... from my short amount of testing the pad seems fine in terms of sensitivity so I don't know if I need it?

@@Daster131 i’ve played what I wood call difficult songs (maxx unlimited is kind of my peak level at the moment) and it handled it pretty well in my opinion. Don’t think i’ll be doing 18’s or 19’s any time soon 😅
