I was thinking more like Dead Space or Doom. the creature remains remind me of necromorphs and the "Aurora" logo you see on the shipping container makes me think of UCP. Both series have a research lab in a artic setting at some point. that and finding mutilated bodes of scientists is a common theme in both of those games.

You can use the laser welder to turn body parts into burnt meatballs that don't track blood (and repair bullet holes/laser burns) and the equipment is a bit on the faulty side as you've seen. And you don't know true pain in this game until you have to pick up to thousands of bullet casings in the Shadow Warrior map.

At some point this hit serious uncanny valley where it just sounded like a dialog, like you became the character. Im just picturing the dude walking into a new room and going "HOW BIG IS THIS PLACE!??" or knocking stuff over and going "OH MY GOD STAAAAAHHHHPPP" it all just fit, you could turn this into an in-universe narrative practically - it just sounds like the dude at his first day on the job

Drae, try stacking multiple buckets inside of each other when moving them around the map. They don't overflow, so you can make a tower of like 4-5 and bring them to/from a bloody area much more efficiently. Also, when you are done with a bucket you can toss some small items/body parts inside of it to reduce the amount of trips you have to take. Just don't throw body parts in clean water; just one piece will completely soil a bucket.

I highly recommend doing co-op mode, not only are you getting free content from just talking to your friends, if benefits because they can cool your rooms more than what one person can. No I know how annoying it may be considering this game can get on your nerve, having your friends around may or may not actually help, besides with more people would want anyway. But you do you, I like this kind of solo either way.

Stack the water buckets to bring in multiple clean ones and remove the bloodied ones, I think three at a time is fine. And you can jump-dip the mop in if you can't reach all the way without spilling. ^^

hey drae as tips from a guy that played the game for a few hours longer than you, be careful with buckets, look DOWN into them when cleaning them off. Always have waste disposel bins next to machines that can malfunction and drop bloody bits. you can stack empty buckets into each other for better transport. You should giveup on this game it'll literally drive you insane. Hope this helps, assuming you ever do a episode of this again, haha...
