Your teeth look great ! I recently had 4 pre-molars removed, I’ve read how people get gaps over time when their braces are removed and their faces change. Hopefully it doesn’t happen to me !

Not much changes to the point where people can tell, besides my lips getting a tad bit smaller 😐 My gaps are still not closed completely tho

@tough cookie well my mouth area does look flatter but for me it’s not a bad thing because my teeth were more flared out. My orthodontist said I didn’t have to get extractions since my teeth were not bad at all honestly, but I end up deciding to remove them just because I did want the flare to go down and didn’t want to worry about my teeth getting crooked. I would say if your teeth are not so crowded or crooked and you don’t really need extractions don’t do it, but if you do have a lot of crowding maybe it would be the best. I mean I wish I didn’t get them removed and got my wisdom teeth removed instead but oh well I have a year left to see the end result

Then maybe you should get them especially if they’re going to bring down some of your teeth they probably need to make room and since you have an open bite it’s probably to adjust your bite as well. it’s sounds like you would need the extraction but maybe you could go for a second opinion as well. @tough cookie I'm in the exact same situation I don't know whether to extract them the side effects are scary and the gaps take so long to close I don't know if it's worth all this struggle

Not at all! All my teeth fit in right so in my case I think it was the best decision
