I've had a bad couple days, so seeing you uploaded today made me so happy! I have to move, on the advise of the police because of my landlord, so it being the holidays as well, I am very stressed out. I'm ready to drink some iced coffee and relax and watch a Meredith Marathon today, lol. I truly get inspired and happy when I put on one of your playlists and just have you on in the background as I move on through my day. I'm excited to watch this video in particular and see what your mentor said! Yes, I'm commenting before I even watch the video, lol.

How exciting!! Sounds like you got some really thorough feedback (and a nice blend of constructive notes along with compliments)! But goodness, did I feel your comment about having little things to change and the brain just not cooperating - I feel like there's been a lot of staring at a paragraph, watching a youtube video, looking at the document again, dinking around, and then FINALLY getting a plan of attack to gel. Hope you've been getting some momentum going!

My immediate response to feedback is defensive. It's always well they just don't "get" my story. Clearly it's not for them and therefore all of their feedback is irrelevant and they don't know what their talking about. 😆 This is why I've instituted a 24 hour rule before replying to any feedback or making any changes.

YES this is so real! I can get defensive, too, but letting the feedback sit and simmer for a little while is the best way to handle it. I really do try to consider all the aspects of what's being said and then make as objective a decision as possible for implementing it (or not).

Loving all the extra videos this month but know they are a lot 😅 Hope the revision is going well, I'm in the midst of this with three projects and dev edits on another and I feel like I've lost my mind! 😂

When I write I sometimes delete one entire page because I don't like a small thing. One time it was a misuse of a ; .
