Yes they can be trimmed, ant the end cap will go right in afterwards you shouldn’t have to cut too much to make it work

If those are the Jeep rocker guards they can be trimmed. I had rubbing from my front tires on my guards after putting on larger tires. Trimmed mine with an angle grinder and cut off wheel. Plastic end cap goes right back in if you cut it nice and straight.
