@BlackFlag714 no simping, she truly loves the game, comes by it honestly, and I’m now playing chess and enjoying it….. even against the computer!! I will agree Anna is very pretty, and if we were pretty young white women, we’d use that to its full marketing advantage in whatever KZbin business we had too. It’s unfair and unfortunate, but whatever. Believe me, I don’t simp LOL.

@@Ism0Lait3la I disagree. Positionally hopeless after about 12-13 moves. No activity, blocked files, horrible king position. She still had a minute by then. Her whole problem, as far as I see it in these games, is that she is playing too reactionary, and can't settle on one or two ideas or gameplans. It's the biggest reason why she won't get to a rating of 2400 and above. Her opening theory is ok, her endgame is ok, she is decent at calculation, but strategically it's lacking.

Anna allowed Alex to play aggressively early in the game which led to some questionable piece exchanges and duplicating moves. That allowed Alex to take out Anna's defense.

Wow, what an exciting match against Alexandra Botez! I'm just a 6-year-old chess enthusiast, but I was on the edge of my seat watching this. Your strategic moves and quick thinking really showcased your skills. Even though it was a tough game, I loved how you managed the pressure, especially when you planned to break Alexandra's bishop pair and the tricky situation with your queen. It was a bit scary when you were running low on time, but you kept your cool. Can't wait to see your next game, and maybe I can learn some more great moves. Chess is awesome, and so are you!

I mean, Eric Rosen almost adopted the botez sisters both in a video, only the final game was drawn. Alex is probably a bit better than Anna, so that's not quite the fair comparison. It's as saying "Magnus can win games with 5 min vs. 30 sec", get lessons from him :D

I would play faster at the beginning. Alex had way more time. Anna wastes too much time to decide what her next step should look like. When time is almost up, she can't find the best solutions anymore because of too much pressure.

What in the world happened between 0:55 and 0:56? Anna's h7 pawn took her OWN g7 Bishop?! Oh, I see, that move was reversed with the next move, where Alex's e5 Knight must have first taken Anna's Bishop, because after the0:56 move, the Knight just... disappears. I see what happened now, but it was certainly, at first. Never mind.

@@scottspeig If that is the case, I haven't watched enough games to know for sure, then it is a narcissism personality trait. We have have this trait, it is a question of recognizing it and changing. Consistently being late or slow, especially for smart people, is a sign you are trying to draw attention to yourself. It is a tactic for people to bend to you. This may be helpful at times in chess but not if it gets you in time trouble consistently. Use when an opponent has made a bad move to let them stew in it, or maybe after a loss of a piece. Otherwise trust yourself and keep moving as a plan.
