Super fun watching you and Justin battle, some solid riding from both of you. Really digging these CORCS races you’ve been doing.

Thanks so much, man! It was a battle out there. CORCS has been pretty fun, nice change of pace. We'll finish out this year and do videos from each one. Thanks for watching!

Not sure how Justin's race went overall, but you're being too hard on yourself about getting smoked. With all the issues you had in the first few laps (ribbon and hydration pack) adding distractions and slowdowns, you certainly had some additional pace you could've leveraged before the battle or even kept ahead of it. Plus the pitstop delay certainly didn't help. I agree with the other commenter that leading is harder because you had to push up your pace and find limits you hadn't been pushing just yet, and you didn't get to ease into upping your pace either. Regardless, congrats to Justin on a solid ride, and congrats on getting 2nd and staying off the ground! I'm sure it was still fun battling a buddy out there than running solo all day. 🙂 Also, love hearing the positive vibes from your dad and cheering you on!

You and your friend giving full on waves to each other down that straight killed me 😂😂😂 track looked pretty for what it was. Thats crazy you guys battling pushed you to a 6:47 on Lap 11 from usually running 7:02’s.

Haha had to give Bradlee a little wave, I thought that was so good. Keep it fun, you know?! Yeah dude crazy how fast we were able to go so late in the race. Imagine if I ran 6:50s all race, if only. Surprisingly Justin's fastest lap was *only* 6:45. But when he ran that it was after he passed me and I ran a 7:06 so yeah he was gone already lol

Great riding DeeO! Not sure if you've seen it or not, but there's a mod out there for those gas cap covers on the yamaha. It's like a quick latch button instead of the screw type latch that's on there stock. That would help you out a ton! Anyways, keep up the good riding DeeO! Can't wait for next video! 🤙🏼

I was actually talking to my friend Alex Heckman about it as he did it for his bike. He had some issues with it and it wasn’t 100% reliable. Definitely would be faster for the fuel, but I also don’t want that cover coming off mid race! Good looking out though, I appreciate the input on it!

@@ReturnOfDeeO fair enough, I just came across a couple posts on Facebook about it and figured I'd tell you! But anyways, let's finish out this race series with a string of 1st place finishes! You got it DeeO!

Good job battling man! I swear it’s a lot harder to be in first place than it is in second. Maybe next time just settle back in the second and wait for him to make a mistake. I think being in second relieves some of the pressure. Either way awesome ride good job Man! 26:34

I fully agree that it's harder to be in front BUT Justin was simply SO much faster than me, I think if I had settled into second earlier he'd just have gapped me earlier and finished that much further ahead than me. I was really hoping he'd crack and make a mistake but homie rode incredible and had me covered. Thank you for watching!

I think a subtle "blip blip" of the throttle would do for getting around riders, pretty distinct sound
@ReturnOfDeeO

Yeah I think you're right! No need to rev-bomb, just a little "yo, rider here." I'll for sure try that at the next race if I need to. TBH this race I never came up on anyone and needed to haha

Hey man, 80s in Colorado hits different because of the altitude 😂 it can be brutal! Are you gonna be racing Pikes Peak Supercross?
@ReturnOfDeeO
@ReturnOfDeeO 4 ай бұрын
Haha yeah maybe that's it! I think a lot of these people over the years who tell me 80 isn't THAT hot would simply die if I took them to the track on a 38 degree day and told 'em we're riding lol. Nah man i won't be. I don't have AMA or RMRA memberships and don't have interest in racing that series this year. Bit sad about it, but not sad enough to do it lol

@@ReturnOfDeeO yeah man I get it, I wanted to try racing again so I signed up and was surprised to see all the memberships I had to have just for that race 😵‍💫 gonna have to make the most of it and hit all the SX races now lol

If you can’t feel the difference between a moose tubeless vs a tube then you have poor bike feel. You should be able to feel a massive difference. The moose is not only a stiffer feel on immediate impacts but it has less traction on lean angle as well.
