Certainly prefer them over Shmee's videos. I try not to begrudge people for having things that I can't/don't/won't have. Listening to Shmee, it's hard to do. His stories sounds like humble bragging of how blessed his life is. Ed's stories are just stories of the wild things that happen. They don't make me feel bad that the best car I've ever owned is my 2011 Jetta TDI that I bought used, or that I'm never going to own anything that can be described as "exotic" simply because of its value or price tag. (I have driven things that could be described as "exotic" for a myriad of other reasons, mostly because of how ghetto they were.) Most of the people on VINWiki fall into similar situation as Ed's stories, so I don't have a problem with them.

@@mattslip179 That's the thing. Ed has supercar stories that don't make me feel bad for not being rich enough to own one. Watching Rob Ferretti's doesn't make me feel bad, either. (I don't think Tavish's count because his are all "I found this broken down one, and here's the wacky story on how I fixed it up.") But Shmee's videos do. And, to be fair, I don't think it's anything he's doing on purpose. And I'm not saying he's not a nice guy. But his stories have a "here's something you'll never be able to do" vibe to them that I can't really explain. It's to the point that if I click on a VINWiki video and see him in the chair, I bail on that video.
