Lol thanks for the games, I had fun Hakan is actually not great but he's fun to play. When you watch people who know how to fight him that's when you get a sense of how bad he really is. He was virtually unplayable before Ultra, at which point he ascended to C tier or low B tier if you really wanna push it. MLSwear and Samurai Drew are far better and they're both still active today. I have videos of both on my channel. He can cancel his fwd dash into normals but he can only cancel the immediate startup frames of his backdash, which gives you the ability to counter many pokes by utilizing the invincibility of backdash, without using focus but it requires very precise timing. The online delay was killing me during those games so i couldn't really do much with backdash cancels. I think his cr lk with oil is +1, and his jumping mk can cross up whereas without oil, it whiffs. Outside of that, everything is virtually the same. Also, you dont need to cr button with perfect timing, plenty of people just mash it. It's a lot harder to land that oil dive than it looks, because of quick rise and delay wake up. You actually have to watch the animation, it's not a free grab by any means. And theoretically he can "punish anything with dash normals" but you'd have to see into the future for most of those punishes. The truth is unless you have really, REALLY good reads, picking Hakan will likely end up very bad for you. anyway....ggs jmc, lol

@@brucegodines5989 Usually focus attack on others character doesn't move while they are charging. As J said, if you dash during the focus you cancel it, but if you just press back or forward once (not double-dash), he will slide while he's doing focus. It's not super useful, but certainly can be a good chutzpah move here and there if the person is afraid of your actions. Forgot to add, being oil up also add damage to the command grabs. And there's another technicallity that I may forgot but take it with a grain of salt cuz it been too long. I think the oil dive grab it had different properties depending on the kick your press.
@Yoloslides2 жыл бұрын
19:24 here's what was going on: So the oil dive cancel is SPD with kick, then while still holding kick you have to press down + PPP the tricky part is if you let go of kick too soon, you execute the oil dive and he flies forward (which actually happened at one point, as you saw) but the other tricky part is if you let go of PPP too fast it counts as a negative edge SPD and you get an accidental SPD or ex SPD as you see in the video. So you do perfect inputs to build meter, only to miss one input and lose the meter you just built lol. Very frustrating but comes with the territory. One of the things that does make Hakan "hard" to use is he has very fast, precise (and thus easy to screw up) command sequences.

In my opinion, it is the best one in the series so far and is going to take some beating. SF6 looks like it is going to be reaching for SFIV, which is ironic. The only thing I would have changed about SFIV was some of the character proportions, but I preferred pretty much everything else about it compared to all of the other Street Fighters before and after it. SFV was a joke, that game actually shouldn't have happened. If you saw the early concept leaks, SF6 was basically what SFV should have been in the first place.
