Canon Made me do it! Honestly, I could not wait on firmware updates to remove Canon's 30 minute time limit, so I had to finally purchase the Atomos Ninja V + so that I can finally record with no limits. But was it worth it? Watch and find out?

Great content! I do like my Atomos Ninja v+, but I really only bought it for the 6k raw on my r6ii, which I never use because of the horrible grading process. R6ii unlimited recording, no overheating and low weight have me leaving the Ninja v+ at home all the time. I do agree the bright screen is what makes me loving having it mounted and it may make more sense when doing talking head vids. I want to see at least one video a week from you on this channel. If I can do it you can do it. You will see growth.

If you need proper ISO/White balance control (and generally RAW controls), Assimilate is the way to go. You can change the basic settings in order to set your exposure/colors and transcode it to ProRES, or you can even export it to CinemaDNG and edit it on any software you like

Thanks! I downloaded Assimilate when I got the Atomos. Though it works, it adds unnecessary work when I already work smoothly with Canon Raw files directly in Premiere. 🤷‍♂️
