I’ve always loved this house, and it’s one of my favourites to remodel, as well as Ye Olde Tudor. In both cases I just change the furniture and colours and keep the original homes. It’s wonderful to see what you’ve done to it!

the name of it is Ye Olde Tudor, but as far as i remember it, it's just a big cabin-esque mansion with victorian bay windows, that has nothing to do with the whole Tudor aesthetic nor architecture.

I remember when I got back into the Sims 3 after not touching the game for months I would always play in this house, it was my favorite house to play in (I always would change the interior lay out), something about the backyard and the lot view just would sell me everytime, I'm so excited to see what you'll do with this house! I’ve played in this house a lot. I always change the colours and get rid of the attic as it’s so unnecessary and creates routing issues with the sims… Loving this series of renovations 😊

Oh I love that orange and blue bedroom! Complimentary colors do NOT automatically look good together and need to be balanced just like any other colors! You’ve done an excellent job matching those together. (Especially with that lovely wallpaper!)

I LOVE this house. My SV save, Jamie Jolina and Thornton Wolff live here with their oodles of kids. I kept the attic area and use it as a "band room" for their teens. Thank you for future ideas on renovations as my family ages!

I remember playing with this house years ago on an old save with a ghost sim turned human from ambrosia. She became a homewrecker for the Goths by convincing Gunther to divorce Cornelia so that they can marry. They had two kids and moved into this house when they had the funds. The entire save was a mess. :)

oh my god, i knew i recognized this house. I have been playing a Sims 3 lepacy recently, and this house belonged to my World Adventures generation sim Orion Fox, who was an international super spy who traveled around the world for both business and leisure. He moved to this house with his French wife Manon Godard, and they had three kids together: Annette, Damien, and Fianna. This brings back so many memories. I'm glad that you chose to renovate this one!

I like what direction you went, it came out really nice. I've done the opposite and turned it into an upscale, ski lodge, adding a gift shop, restaurant, a snow board half pipe in back and then saved it and placed it in Aurora skies.

I HATE that porch fence for the same reason I can't build in TS4. It come from the store, and you get four or five identical fences with different colours, because it's like one of maybe 6 things in the game Create A Style can't effect. It's a lovely design, but you can't recolour it and that drive me batty.

8:27 "I'll stop being bitchy" - gee we wish you wouldn't stop being bitchy. :D I like this reno quite a lot. I should do more of this. One of the hardest things for me when building in S3 is to plan for the right amount of space. Either a room is way too big and I'm stuck throwing pretty junk everywhere or it's cramped and I have to scale back. Sometimes the room's too big so I add a thing and now it's too cramped. Any good ideas on how to avoid that?

Irt Sims4 and textures, the Sims4 feels less like a life simulation game and more like a dollhouse. You play with your Barbies and Kens and sometimes Skippers and Kellys, plastic and all. It’s too blandly pretty and clean, and the “personalities” mean nothing.
