Not gonna lie bro, I don’t watch your twitch. I only watch your KZbin. Your my favourite Pokémon content creator. You treat your audience like actual adults, make funny jokes and are genuinely talented and give amazing advice that I’ve been using for my nuzlockes. I totally get being unsatisfied, but just from a random viewer, you’ve been an absolute legend of a KZbinr, can’t wait to see more this year man From a filthy Pchal KZbin fan 😂 :)

Second this as well. Partly narrated videos are so nice. You don't have to get in on the other (popular) KZbin trends. I think most of us really appreciate you getting slammed in a Nuzlocke, but I can understand how the funding and sponsorship appeasement can also pull you from that content. I'd say I like your choice. Nuzlocking content is great with all the other hams that get bodied is funny and all, but your deep dive, in depth gameplay sets you apart from most. There's nothing wrong with sticking to your roots. And i commend you choosing quality over quantity.

I'm not a twitch person, I'm a youtube person. I like the condensed stuff, I don't have it in me to spend five hours looking at nothing because at some point something will happen. And I think this video and you have made me confront the fact that I really like to watch streams condensed into youtube format, and what that implies. I like consuming thousands of hours of nothing condensed into the few moving moments where something is happening, and that isn't reasonable, it really isn't. I'm still really looking forward to what type of stuff you'll make in the future though, including how your twitch streams go. I don't know if you've considered it, or don't really like them much, but there are some interesting fan games out there, like Zeta/Omicron, and Insurgence, they include delta Pokémon, which were something featured in the card game, an example would be a grass type snorlax. Listening to your streams is how I got through the work day in 2020. It's really good to hear you're returning to streaming and I hope to catch them all.

I always appreciate when a KZbinr is open and honest with their community. Glad you’re taking steps to improve the channel to where you’re happy with it. Can’t wait to see what you’ve got in store for this year! Much love Pchal!

That’s awesome! It’s not often that you see KZbinrs do proper retrospectives on how their work has been going and deciding on concrete plans in how to get themselves where they want to be. Looking forward to the future videos!

It sounds like you learned the difference between short term and long term benefits, for your channel, your community, and your own enjoyment. Even as someone looking in from the outside, I can tell how hard a lesson that is to learn, from my own life experiences. I'm looking forward to what this change in mindset will bring!

Mad respect. Coming out and being this upfront about your opinion on the channel and your projects takes real humility. It is amazing and inspiring to see you don't feel satisfied giving only the bare minimum. I look forward to watching your Run & Bun and Crystal Kaizo + videos!

Great Work! I noticed that you didnt post too many of your nuzlock recaps. And that was really what I watched you for and found myself not clicking on your videos/not watching them through all the way. Cant wait to watch your next recap!

I’m so glad for this change for you Jan. I also have ran a KZbin channel for now 10 years to small success but I find that I get a much greater passion for it when I change my brand a little and get a little more life into it. I haven’t really watched your vids or streams for about a year and I was kinda missing them, glad you’re back on the train and I hope to catch a few vids every couple of days. Keep it up!

I’m excited to see more Nuzlocke recap content from you, those have always been my favorite videos of your to watch and where I personally think you shine most as a creator! also, if you’ve heard of Pokemon Rejuvenation, I’d love to see how you would approach Nuzlocking it! I honestly don’t even know if it’s doable, but I think it’s definitely something worth looking into anyway, best of luck to you in all of your runs this year!

Honestly? I enjoyed your tier lists, a couple of them were really helpful to put things into perspective for my own Nuzlocke runs. At the end of the day though, it's all about making the content you really feel passionate about. Really excited to see what you've got in store for the year ahead, thanks for everything so far Jan (p.s. I missed seeing the sloth)

Really gotta appreciate how honest he was about himself in this video. He wasnt afraid to admit what he knew he was getting away with cause it was the easiest way to make money, bit also was willing to recognize that his audience will not let him get away with that forever. Looking forward to a new beginning!

Okay. I just clicked on this and it already looks good. Perhaps some taken criticism has led to these changes? I'm excited. Edit: I'm still pretty excited, I do think this is a great leap forward to creating better content. I'm eager for Crystal Kaizo+ because it's been about a year since the last Crystal Kaizo+ video and I was wondering where the followup video was. I like the changes made here so far.

As one of your KZbin people, I'm SO GLAD you're evolving your channel with the times and what makes you happy with your content, rather than doing the same thing and letting it stagnate while your enjoyment of what ya do diminishes completely. On a slightly more personal note: Jan, you've inspired me to try and complete my own hardcore Nuzlocke. I've never beaten one before, but I have a feeling this year will finally be the year I complete a Hardcore Platinum Nuzlocke (vanilla Pt, of course, I'm not fucking insane). Looking forward to what this year holds for your channel!
