I grew up in the New England area, so I second B&M! Either one can be great heated up for 30sec in the microwave and then hit with some cinnamon sugar. It's typically eaten with baked beans, but the sweet ones, not the tomato based ones.

Best way to prepare canned bread in the US: Step 1: buy B&M canned bread Step 2: open one end of can Step 3: remove bread from can and discard Step 4: make brown bread dough (more of a batter, really) with raisins Step 5: put dough in B&M bread can and cover with foil Step 6: put can upright in pot filled to 2" (5cm) with boiling water then cover to steam bread Step 7: remove can from pot, then bread from can, enjoy with butter and/or beans. Seriously, one thing they got right is those cans are the perfect size for brown bread.

Not exactly a gift I got for Christmas, but one I helped fix up for my Bro-in-law (Sister's husband): She had picked up a lower-end replica Master Sword from Legend of Zelda. The yellow paint had practically been put on with a roller. So, I took it, and repainted it so that the gold bits looked gold and was far more cleanly applied than the original job.
