I actually come to play KH few years ago (since for some reason, never had a way to play it), and since i knew it was a very big franchise, i assume it would be best to play from the first one to the last one. If you only play the last one you will not get much of the crazy (and kinda complicated) lore this game has.

Kingdom hearts 1 was the first game i ever beat on my own so it holds dear to me. I've played every single game and seen all the side content, I understand this crazy as fuck story. I like KH3 a lot. And honestly while I love kh2 I think its overrated specifically because a few of the things people love about kh2 came from the final mix version such as the extra bosses and story

Remove the Disney assets and Kingdom hearts is a very very meh action rpg. The combat mechanics become stale fast, the story is all over the place and is guilty of rinse and repeat as well as a slog at times. The english voice acting is very akward because it doesn't match up with the animation so they draw out lines to thr point it sounds like a highschool play. Like I said remove the Disney properties and the game series does not have 5+ games.

did people forget that those old games n64 an gamecube, ps,1 ps2, xbox, sega, super nintendo had to be polished without patches. so you got a full game out of the box that will always work be fun an tell a good story that are still played to this day. a lot of the older games are still more based an peak than any other modern trash that needs 100 patches later to just get it to not crash.

Im 22 years old. Ocarina of time predates me by like six years. However, it is the reason im a Zelda fan today. My dad bought me Ocarina of time for my 2DS when i was 13 (yes i played the remaster first, not the og), and it became my favorite game on the system. I bought Breath of the Wild because of that game, then later played the older games like Skyward sword, wind waker, and Majora's Mask. I still replay Ocarina of time now because i enjoy the dungeons. In my opinion, an HD remaster, with full camera movement and improved controls would sell incredibly well today if it were to happen. I do think the next 3d game should blend the new games open world with the old games dungeons and temples.

Someone complaining about Zelda 'not being a very good franchise' with also saying 'the old ones are worse' sounds like a child who didn't know what games were like when each of the Zelda games came out, and are just comparing them with current/newer games that came out later. Even with comparing Pokemon Legends of Arceus (2022) with LoZ Breath of the Wild (2017) there's five years between them with the Zelda one coming out first. To me, it looks like Legends of Arceus is heavily inspired by Breath of the Wild.

COD WWII had really good gameplay in all the different modes. Hell there was a map where you were toy soldiers in a sandbox and the midgame event was the part of the sandbox getting torched by a magnify glass. And I will die on this hill... IT HAD ONE OF THE BEST ZOMBIES MODES EVER. However, the map selection was dog shit with the only two I ever got to play being "The Final Reich" and "Gröesten Haus".

I've been a Kingdom Hearts fan since KH1 came out when I was a kid, and I will say Kingdom Hearts 3 was a weak entry on multiple fronts, so I can see why Brian had his initial opinion. - The game was too easy. The community complained about this so loudly that Tetsuya Nomura actually responded by saying he mistakenly thought the modern gamer wants a casual experience. He then released a free update with Critical Mode in it, and players proceeded to be defeated in the first world when playing that mode. That said, the 13 data boss battles in the paid DLC are... _very_ difficult for something that is not really optional. Higher difficulty bosses have been fine when they were optional, but these guys stood in the way of story content. - Story was very cutscene heavy. I get that the goal was to wrap up the Xehanort Saga story arc, but hot damn, lemme play the game. - Frozen world was godawful, and I was actually kinda disappointed in the Big Hero 6 world map, though the story was good. The best worlds were Toy Story and Monsters Inc, and Pirates of the Caribbean had fun gameplay. Overall, though, KH3 is a lot more satisfying for someone who played the previous games, especially for those who played KH Birth by Sleep and at least watched the 358/2 Days cutscene movie and know what happened at the end of Dream Drop Distance.

My first cod was bo2 (technically it was advanced warfare) and it got my attention, but IW had me hooked from the story to the multi-player. The younger people really won't understand how legendary ORCarina of Time was. In an era where graphics went from 2D to 3D, it was a huge deal. Now a days, graphics haven't had that kind of upscale and end up just looking a tiny bit better each generation. Ocarina was not my favorite Zelda (Link To the Past was; I'm 37), even though I have a half-sleeve on my arm of Link and Ganondorf, but it has some of the best music in any series ever. Ocarina of time was the introduction to video games. I didn't really understand any form of objective (because I was 5 when I played it) but I eventually picked it back up to beat it years later in HighSchool, and it was an absolutely incredible experience.

didn't see this video till today but a hot take i think i got is i much rather have loot boxes than battle passes, lemme explain yes battle passes and seasonal battle passes provide more income to developers and allow players to have certain skins only available through the pass however i much rather earn a loot box through gameplay, have the option to be able to buy more loot boxes and still be able to get top tier skins unlike these days most games i.e. overwatch, apex legends and cod where if you do want legendary skins but don't want to pay for the battle pass (usually $20) you have to pay at least $10 to $15 each for them. i miss the days where getting skins where either luck based, paying with money or currencies that you earned only through loot boxes or skill based where you actually earned the skins

20:27 It's not the developers who are the problem, it's the heads of the companies who are forcing unfinished games to be released, so it feels lazy and/or boring. The problem is that some games release half baked that features that are implemented down the road in updates are things that shouldve been in the initial release. So when a game that is half baked comes out, people will steer clear of it and that may be the nail in tbe coffin, never being able to show its wings before breaking through its cocoon. Overall, its the company heads that need to be blamed for the faults in games being released to early... Unless your Ubisoft. Ubisoft is a different breed that easily has both devs and ceo that think what they did was great and will bite back if you think otherwise, but it is an actual dumpster fire that deserves that title just because the devs themselves are rude (The Ubisoft years with the original Rayman to Far Cry 4 was when they were actually trying and doing well)

Kingdom hearts 1 was just as popular as when san Andreas when they both came out and 1 and 2 are both ps2 platinum hits but 3 was really eh but if you played the dlc and fought the 14 super bosses they made those bosses were immensely difficult especially when they added restrictions called pro codes

Also either what is used to create games hasn't evolved with time to keep up with the size of new games or something else is slowing things down. Naughty Dog, Rockstar, Insomniac and more used to able to get fully finished and fun games out every year or two. Now it's been over a decade since GTA 5 and Naughty Dog just keep rereleasing Last of Us and it's dumpster fire sequel, I may not like Spiderman 2 but at least it showed Insomniac still puts things out as regularly as they can.
