The Secret Circle is one of my favorite series that L.J. Smith wrote (The Forbidden Game remains #1), and it was so long ago that those books were re-released I got a shock seeing them! The first 3 (the two thick books, "The Captive" is actually one book) were the original published ones in the early 90s, and the following ones were after the re-publishing in the early 2010s.

Oh my goodness, when did Ash and Tobu get so BIG??? I feel like I blinked and they aren't kittens anymore! I LOVE those special editions. I used to be the person that wouldn't buy special editions because they are expensive but now I'm buying them left and right while anxiously waiting to get off Fairyloot's waiting list (I just got off Illumicrates). 🤣

I really liked like a charm and am excited to get to the sequel as well. I also have angie thomas' MG debut and am so excited as I have been loving MG fantasy books lately. I am sooo curious about lessons in chemistry because of all the hype it is getting. I really did not like the 'does it hurt' book....and it wasn't the shark scene....the book was too long for the story. I feel like it is a book you love, or hate. And I just didn't care for it at all
