Congrats on your pending JMT trip! My son and I will be doing the JMT heading NOBO starting July 7 so we might pass you going the other way! We weren’t so lucky in the SOBO permit lottery but regardless it’s going to be an incredible hike.. I’ve backpacked the Sierra in the past.... no words that I use could do those mountains justice.
