I remember a few years ago my cousin died of type four cancer. she was only 6 years old and my best friend. we were only a few months apart. the last time i saw her we went for a walk with my family and she was in a wagon being pushed my all of us. she looked so dead and slim. i almost burst out crying. she died a month or so after that. we still celebrate her birthday and bring her presents. my family and i went to disney land with custom made shirts from my mom. we made one for my cousin. it was hard to believe that my best friend was now gone. i still remember every moment i had this her. you can and will beat this colby. i believe in you.

My grandmother currently has stage 4 lung cancer. It’s been quite hard. Months ago she had 2 heart attacks and was in and out of the hospital for months. Everyone thought she was going to die. She was in and out of consciousness multiple times a day. She has been doing radiation everyday for the month of march and is going to do her single chemo round next week. She has been so strong through this and this story has made me feel so much better about her situation. Thank you Colby, and congratulations on being 1 year cancer free!

I know I am a little late to this channel but I am so glad I found these guys. This video has meant so much to me. He is so right when saying that just about everyone has to deal with cancer or someone with cancer. In 2007, my dad passed away from cancer when I was 2 1/2 years old. Good morning Colby....I've only recently discovered your channel and am enjoying it immensely. Then I discovered this video chronicling your fight with cancer. I can somewhat relate having had to deal with Chron's for almost ten years...the infusions, the pain, etc. I compliment you on your resolve in fighting the cancer and coming through the experience successfully...I know with absolute certainty that it is too easy to fall into a dark place and be consumed by it, but you didn't, and that is a remarkable and noteworthy thing. You are also very fortunate to have a friend like Sam...It is indeed a rare person who would put their life on hold to help you the way he did. My grandmother had cancer. I dont remember what type it was, but I knew that it wasn't getting better with each day. Each passing hour scared me, i was terrified of losing her. And I did. I still miss her everyday, watching this video has never brought me to tears faster than any other video. My Nan had died in 2020, around the time my mental health began dropping. You guys saved me more than ever. Even if I know this will never bee seen by either of you, I still have so much to say. When I started watching you guys, you were still in the exploring abandoned places and traphouse era. Seeing you talk about how much Sam meant to you, it absolutely broke my heart. I enjoy watching your ghost hunting and just started watching them about 2 months ago. My granddaughter and daughter watch and turned me onto it. I am so glad that you are cancer free. I was also free for awhile after having double mastectomy but now I have lung cancer. Going through treatments and will not give up because I want to see my granddaughter and great granddaughters (3) grow up. I am 78 and still have a lot of life in me so will go with the program, which they say will take 2 years of treatments. I am so happy for you and having such a soul mate as Sam to help you through. My daughter is my soul mate and she is the world to me. I will keep watching and enjoying your shows. Love ya GIGI

My dad has/had stage 4 cancer. When I was 1, and it came out of remission when I was 16. It will come out of remission again someday. I pray it's not someday soon. The bond you and Sam have is earth shaking. I pray y'all have many more years together. ❤️

i JUST found out you went through this. I'm not a fan, but let me tell you I cried my eyes out watching this. I'm so glad you have a friend who could be such a great support to you. my cousin died of cancer last year, she was just 16. i wasn't able to process it until i watched this. i think it just helped me understand what she had to go through for years and how angry i am that she didnt get to beat it. im glad you made it, lots of love
