Hi Kat. I got my first tarantula yesterday and fed them today. I named them (unsexed) "Poodle". They took a couple superworms for me! I'll rehouse after some containers arrive on Monday, it's currently in one of those awful flimsy Zilla enclosures with not nearly enough substrate

We have a jumping spider living in our kitchen. I told my daughter not to kill it. He (or she) is so cute. It watches what I’m doing sometimes. I don’t bother it and it doesn’t bother me.

I just found a baby zebra jumping spider outside today! Luckily I had a small acrylic box I was able to drill vent holes in and make an enclosure out of, and was able to go buy some fruit flies before the reptile shop closed. She just ate her very first one and I caught it on video! She's so tiny still, lets hope she makes it. Her name is barbie:)🥰

Kat, how can I get one of these amazing spiders? I’ve searched for Gandanameno sp at various vendors and can’t find any 😖 I’m actually local to the St. Louis area if you’re ever interested in selling a couple. Thank you for everything you do. Advocating for spiders is amazing, and we do have the power to change peoples minds about these lovely creatures. I’ve changed a few minds here at work - now I’m the go to spider wrangler when anyone finds one wandering around, and people are always asking about my collection.
