This English translation even it’s wrong but still powerful 😂 He says if they mock my blackness ,then it’s my lineage in the battle if I missed the lineage (bani abs )

Corrected translation changes meaning a lot I personally think, since he’s proud of his lineage and family not skin colour and race.

@@user-oc5gh9lr4f how did he miss the lineage? Didn't his people consider him to belong to their tribe?

@@belikova01his mother was a slave black in colour and the Arab don’t consider who is born from a slave to have a pure lineage and they used to enslave them too, until they make a great contribution or become great poets then they make them free and claim them as part of the lineage. And the story of how he became free is once during war he was fighting passively as he was upset because in the war before it he fought and did well and only received from the spoils the percentage which slaves get so in this war he didn’t put an effort and when the battle became intense and they were going to lose, his father screamed to him to attack but his reply was that a slave can’t attack, then his father said attack and you are free, so he attacked and turned the tables. To this day the arabs sing of his courage, knighthood, strength, fearlessness and finally love. And to explain the story of his love, he loved his cousin Ablah unrequitedly, he loved her so much and said poems about her and when he tried to marry her, her father and brother refused for the aforementioned reasons even after he became free, and so to close the doors on him her father asked a hard maher for her, 1000 of specific type of camels, he went through hardships to acquire them, he was even imprisoned, at the end he succeeded but they still refused to let him marry her. In the end it was unknown if he managed to marry her or not. Some say they didn’t let him, as the arab used to not let someone who fell in intense love before marriage get married. Some even say that her father searched for knights to marry her and the maher is Antara’s head. And some say he managed to marry her, how wouldn’t he manage to with his prestige and strength.
