It's because I Mario, when you beat the game you save the princess and in Zelda when you beat the game you save the princess as well. But megaman doesnt rescue a girl at all. Nah you're not. Normal difficulty was hell for me as a kid, especially because I was playing the game full blind. Nowadays, it's underwhelmingly easy and the only way I get some kick out of it is when I handcap myself. And then I played Wily Wars. It had the JP dificulty by default and it made fresh what I liked about MM2. BubbleMan stage was much less punishing on the eyes, for example.

Such a huge expansion to the first game...I like it almost as much as the first one. As hard as it is, I really like that the designers baked variety into its design. The Items and weapons are all super helpful and the Robot Masters have both primary and secondary weaknesses! (And Crash Man's weapon actually refills Heat Man's health!) Not too long, not too short, and with great presentation. Not for the easily frustrated but one of my favorites. Really hate that wall blaster Wily Boss though.

beating mega man 2 on difficult mode isn't even hard... It's more like normal mode and the actual normal mode is like easy mode. This is also one of the easiest classic mega man games, the only game that might be easier is mega man 5 and I'm talking about difficult mode. On normal mode this game is just a joke

I’ve played MM2 since I was like 5 so it’s hard to say. I can totally see why people think that since it requires precise movement. Sometimes I’ll still slip up every now and then on the second half of the stage. It’s all about muscle memory. I can play MM2 without even paying full attention but when I play the other Mega man games I get slaughtered left and right because of there being new enemies with different patterns and all that. I will say though, quick man’s stage would be super easy if the slide mechanic was in MM2 lmao

Oh, Crash bomber recovers Heat and Metal man. Wall trap; You can bomb two the doorway and the turret with well placed crash bomb shot in order to save shots and also spam pause button to not to get hit by the turrets shots. In total, you can do it with 6 shots. Also, already exploded doorways stay exploded if you happen to need to refill. Really love the intimidating themes of all of the bosses but this one truly put the pressure on you. Also I agree, Metal Blade is the best against Dr.Wily, plus also it's the best weapon in the game which is one of the contributing reasons why people still loves this game so much. It's just so... Well... Way too easy even on the hard levels and they gave you a weapon that literally costs next to nothing to use to beat the whole game.

I don't know if anyone has said this yet, but believe it or not, Flash man has two weaknesses Of course, his main weakness is Metal blade But if you have crash bomb, tricking him into walking through the explosion really tears him to shreds. But because this tactic requires the uneven terrain in his first fight, (crash bomb doesn't exolode on enemy contact fsr) the Metal blade is better for the rematch.
