I don't think so. Wily permanently altered the timeline that Quint is from, so it really doesn't exist anymore. In Quint's timeline, he never had to fight a future version of himself. Ergo, Mega Man's future will not lead to Quint's present anymore, so him destroying Mega Man wouldn't do anything to him.

I always thought Wily made a robot duplicate of himself in the 2nd game (maybe he was badly injured by the falling debris in 3 and still wanted to take over the world), which explains why he looks different during the fight and how he still appears in future games.

The bit had to remove due to the recent news that Reploid REVO is a terrible piece of shit and also a pedophile. Because of this. Power Guy's also force to remove his whole speaking bit and private his Power Battle, Power Fighters and co-op Battle & Chase collab with him. As a result there's payoff to a joke that had to be cut out. The only way you could watch the exchange now is though his 1st anniversy video where PG reacted to all of videos. You have to pause at 8:39 to read this exchange that was cut. The transcript of the joke in question: Twitch: Stop, The Time Skimmer isn't ready! Using this could have terribl- Wily: I get it! They are some of my faves (though only really II in this vid, the actual gb-gems are a video away it seems) As unpopular an opinion it may be, Quint is one of my all-time favourite robot masters in the series (excluding the playable trio).
