i like tele's strats lp's and sg's, soo far, even after owning one, i dont like v's. explorer i had was cool, but to me it's an lp style, my lemon drop top and binding just looks too cool, feels right. it's a harley benton too, i sold my gibson lp years ago for "reasons" lol its a nice guitar. i want to try a semi-hollow body next. tele's are cool, i had a fender blacktop series one. strats also cool. SG and a LP though, they do everything imo, lp styles just have that vibe. i didnt like them when i was younger, but now days its got the look, feel, tone, and tone my benton rivals the studio i sold, but binding and better top. idk, all depends on ur feel

I've been feeling this way about a Stratocaster. I've owned super strats from companies like ESP, Ibanez and Jackson. Never owned a simple stratocaster and now I feel like I need one just to have one. I'm gonna get one after I've bought myself a new 7 string and for that I've decided on a Music Man JP. After that, a simple strat in black or white, possibly. Doesn't even have to be a Fender, could also be a Suhr Classic S.

I remember trying out my SD Blackouts on the Rockerverb and i wasn't in love with the tone at all. When i started using a Maxon OD808 into pretty much any PAF loaded Ibanez the amp sounded amazing. What I took away was that medium output pickups responded best with the Rockerverb.

Same! I was browsing Warmoth for bodies for a year. Now, 7 years after, only acquired one hella crappy Johnson telecaster, and a lot of other crap guitars. Having two kids now and one more on its way is definitely a factor for not getting the "dream guitar" yet, but got this Harley Benton Fusion II last month which seems like a lot of fun. My kids love to play it and listen to me play. Needs a pickup change (next year). The intonation is slightly off, not much, but it's okay when lots of distortion is added. I've really grown fond of playing again. Maybe, my kids will one day give me a Telecaster, if I'm lucky! 😆

I got the Amarok-7 green and I'm loving it, those pickups are devastatingly good!! There are so many tones you can get out of them!! I'm thinking of modding it with another 9V battery further down the line, but I'm gonna enjoy the guitar as it is for now. Love the color as well, I wish it had deeper figuring on the top, though, because of the satin finish. Such a great guitar!

Hi, Hunter. Nice clean coverage for the swear words this time; no "leakage". Praise your editor and request that he keep up the good work. I know how you feel about that H&K TriAmp. I've lusted after aspirational gear for decades ... and decades ... and decades! I finally got one piece about a month ago, although I'm sure you'd hate it. I got a Zoom G9.2tt Guitar Effects Console for somewhat less than $200, shipped! This was Zoom's flagship digital multi-effector starting in about 2005. I've heard that the early ones had some quality problems; I was fortunate to get what I think of as second generation -- much more solid, from what I'm told. This thing is HUGE -- a good 2 feet wide! It sports 9 footswitches, 2 pedals (one with a horizontal portion which gives it something more like 3 pedals!), and 2 analog sections each featuring a 12AX7 vacuum tube. The tubes were why I wanted this thing, as one tube works alongside a solid-state clean booster to provide preamp tube sound, and the other (I think) functions as a low-output power amp section to yield real tube power amp feel. Having never had an all-tube amp, I don't really know what that means, but I wanted to find out if I could. Anyway, these tube sections give the unit both a great strength and incredible frustration! They can help push a patch over the top in sound quality, but they are both COMPLETELY analog -- which means that they are not digitally controlled, stored, nor recalled. If you get a magic sound using these sections, you don't dare change the settings because you might not get them back! Obviously, though, those settings might work well for one patch and totally KILL another. Not good that you can't save and recall those settings -- but it's no deal breaker, because I've gotten some seriously killer distortion AND clean sounds from this unit! No, it's not perfect, but as you know, NOTHING can be considered bad if it makes you say, "DAMN, that sounds good!" often enough! One last thing: I will probably NEVER like Telecasters. It's not just that they're ugly; I've already gotten past that. No, it's the neck. My fretting hand just doesn't feel comfortable with those necks. Strat necks, Ibanez Wizard necks, Peavey's C-shaped necks, and even the rather chunky neck on my Hamer Sunburst Archtop -- they're all fine to my fret hand, but Tele necks just raise my tension level. Not worth it to me! Of course, if Fender used the traditional Tele headstock on a neck with a Strat profile ... well .... Wrote too much! 'Nuff said!😎❤️️🎸‼️

I just got a Player Series Tele (MIM) last month, and it honestly may be the best playing guitar I own. I haven't touched my Les Paul, Strat, or even my Taylor. I just pick up the Tele and strum it unplugged all day long. I've been playing for 25 years and I can't believe I went this long without a Telecaster. I hate myself for not getting one sooner. Now I'm bidding on a late 90's Nashville Tele with the Fender factory installed B-Bender. Those things have jumped so much in price it's ridiculous!
