I agree. They stuck to the same styles. The outfit of her own around 3:28 (orange pants and that mixed color sort of top) looked the best for me! I kept rewinding!

I think that stylist was way off. You are clearly an inverted triangle! You have really narrow hips. Perhaps she was going by your muscular bottom and thighs when deciding on your shape, but visually, you look narrow-hipped and broad-shouldered, at least from the front. And I think the skirt with the ruffle immediately at the waistline at minute 3:20 looks much better on you than the H-line skirts. Just my opinion, of course. I mean you look great in everything, so doesn't really matter, I guess.

I agree with the other comments that you are definitely an inverted triangle! It's not super dramatic or anything like that. Perhaps she was going based off Korean standards for "hourglass?" Everything looks fantastic so in the end I suppose it doesn't matter that much! (Body shape has to do with your bone structure- hourglass tend to have about the same size shoulders and waist. Visually, I don’t see that with Megan’s body. She is still extremely gorgeous, fit, and so beautiful. However, I think this body type assessment is wrong.

Loved that the body analyst did a phenomenal job in giving you suggestions and helping to give pointers on what to accentuate. However, this was also a great example of how sizing in different countries will affect how clothes fit. Korean's have an average body frame, not to say there aren't a variety or that variations don't exist but..., this video makes it clear in the way the clothes are made for the masses here. Even with a body analysis, it doesn't mean that the recommended clothes will all fit accordingly. In this video, it was most notable in the way the skirts are tailored and don't fit comfortably/modestly/flattering for ALL body types. It was also present in the way that the first thing the stylists thought to do was to go to "hip" clothes but that didn't mean it was all going to be flattering. I think what I want to say is, for people who unknowingly or unconsciously come to Korea looking for some sort of validation or belonging (i.e. will they like me? am i too fat? am i pretty? etc.), try to break out of that mindset and don't feel disappointed if something doesn't work out. Shopping here can be daunting because there are a lot of size restrictions, but at the end of the day, it should be fun and you should remember that even smaller "acceptable" sized people will have a hard time finding clothes, too. So don't be discouraged and just be on the look out for things that fit YOU and not the other way around.

Same here! I think the stuff looked cute on Megan especially the black dress in the beginning. But I think it’s because they’re going based of measurement rather than actually physicality. Even though her measurements say hourglass, Megan physically is not an hourglass. My measurements say I’m a pear, but when you look at a true pear vs me, you can tell that’s not right. I just have a larger behind lol whereas pears are typically bigger hips. I’m straight up and down which would really make me a square

I don’t love that they brought you to places that had like street wear style. Part of me is like “did they do that because you’re black?” I was hoping that they would expand the range of styles for you like elegant, preppy, casual and even just taking what you have and elevating it to show you how to style your hourglass shape.
