Hopefully you reach 20K subscribers by the end of the year!! I have enjoyed ( vicariously) the rockhound game in the wild! I am 68 years old and have never been able to do that kind of rock collecting, being married with 5 children slows up what you can budget for. I live in South Texas over the Edward’s Aquifer surrounded by a trillion tons of limestone and a few pockets of aragonite crystals! Back on the coast of Virginia where I grew up there were not many collecting sites that had much more than fossils( which is great if you’re interested in invertebrate paleontology, NOT) I always loved agates after reading Leland Quick’s book “ The Book of Agates” published by the Lapidary Journal years ago!! My son studied geology at UTSA and I got to go along on several field trips with him to places where something other than sedimentary limestone was actually fieldstone!! Keep these videos coming, greatly enjoyed every one that I manage to see!! Love from South Texas 🤠❤️👍🎄

AA: "look! it's a big- HUGE beautiful agate..." (AA proceeds to pull it out of ground, revealing said agate was actually 3/4 covered by dirt previously) Me: adventurine green with envy So glad this came out now, I really needed my agate fix, cant get to my beach for about 5 days straight as it's King Tides, and much as I love Beachcombing those sneaker waves are NOT worth risking for ALL the agates on the Yellowstone (which are all 4000% bigger than anything I'll ever find! 😂) Also, my fav part of this trip was right after finding that chonker when AA goes "That's what I get for throwing sticks for Kip I guess!" Wow, what a crazy/amazing/agate beautiful day! That huge one is something to write home about. I really like your idea of talking about agate formation in future videos. Along those lines, how/where did you find the information about the age of petrified wood? I ask because I have briefly tried to find some information and didn't have any luck. Finally, thanks for the clarification about Kip's "dead body" finds, ;-)
