Thank you for spectate me and cheer me all the way up to the finals ♥. During playoff, i wanted to win with the most iconic decks of your channel. Paleo Tear, Going second striker-snake-eyes, runick bystial and my babe roze 👀. Shame the match i actually won with sky striker wasn't showcased, but it came up again on finals sooooo... anyway, loved the tournament, was so much fun and the players were so friendly. Josh's challenger cups are indeed the basest ones. 👀

I think the floo player didn't know the ruling of trap monsters. They just thought it would go to the spell/trap zone.

Even so there were other misplays... it would've been better to use Raiza to bounce the face down and the backrow, or bounce all the monster cards to try to OTK and use Mist if the backrow was a problem... but they bounced the 2 cards that didn't matter :/

na this is 2024 yugioh if it was like 2020 maybe but now decks already have way too powerful in archetype negates and pops and etc this only rlly hurt the rogue decks (ofc except linkuriboh and sum limit which was indeed a good ban)

@@NoNameOrLifeIf in archetype interaction is so powerful as you say, then why has every meta deck that doesn't lock you out of synchros from snake eyes to full power ishizu tear had Baronne as part of their end board?

@@atdaniell2797 first of all just cause they use those doesn't mean they need those e(my point isn't that good decks don't use them but rather banning them doesn't rlly affect them) its like at most the powerlevel of those decks will go down by about 5% at most 10% while for most non meta decks they will literally lose more than 50% of their end board that is literally a massive nerf to any non tier decks or rogue decks what I think should happen is more of the bans like linkruboh which makes the entire deck less stronger and doesn't affect rest of the decks, if they dont more of the people will switch to the top tier decks and no other decks will be used I want more diversity not just top tier decks always but now they don't stand a chance

@@NoNameOrLife yes, Snake Eyes still functions without Baronne but it was often the piece of interaction that "broke the camel's back". Full Snake eye combo that can't end on Baronne is inherently weaker and gives the player on the draw a fairer shot of cracking the board without killing any key components of snake eyes.

God, Tearlaments is truly the peak of yugioh. So many versions, so many small techs, so many variables. I hope they lift some of the restrictions on its cards with the millers gone

At 1:02:50 the purrely player should've at least used noir to spin literally anything in the grave, as they could've got back a third purrely spell, and later protected flamburge with Happy Memory (as they'd have an additional discard). A shame but oh well...

Hey Josh, do you think you could make a video on what a paleo/paleo tear/tearlaments deck would look like if there was no banlist, for example the 4 ichizu monster would be good right ?

With absolutely no banlist tear wouldn't touch Paleos, and with no banlist the only deck worth playing would be tearlaments. Even if you were to play Paleo, you would need to play a ton of hand traps because a no-banlist deck end board is unbeatable without handtraps. Theoretically, you could have diviner be your normal summon to send the izhizu millers, and you could revive it with spright elf if it's milled.

This floo player is such an embarrassment… like the first tech you learn is bouncing back the raiza so you can keep recycling it every turn. So many missed opportunities to push.
