SoulSilverArt said word for word why I love Inteleon. Its idle is a bit offputting but it looks so much better in action, showing off all the gadgets around its body. I don't care if everyone hates this thing, it's my favourite Pokemon and imma defend it till the end. Also, a clarification on its tail "knife": it doesn't appear in SwSh at all for some reason, but it does in Scarlet/Violet. It can be seen in the Synchro Mode, by spamming the attack button until you get the "rare" animation, and also as the default physical attack animation while swimming.

The Wildest Lumiosepost statement of 2024! lol (I do agree with it though... it's just... if the Glimwood Tangle was an actual Maze 😭, or even better, an explorable Wild Area, maybe even with it's own mini-pokedex... that would have been an Amazing teaser! I also mean, if they had around 5 pokemon to reveal instead of 2 (I'm thinking Ponyta, Impidemp, Hattrine, and Dreepy, maybe if they had just another new grass pokemon like Eldegoss (but not Eldegoss, just one more new grass family), Centiscortch too, as well as pokemon like Skwovet and Sinistea and just returning pokemon you might find there)...maybe even teasing a mythical like Zarude. Zarude needs so much more lore, if they used that to tease Zarude, but then never acknowledge it, continue to not put it in the base game... that would have been an epic reveal of pretty cool content) I'm also not going to lie, as many problems as I have with the actual game, the Pokemon aren't one of those, neither is the advertising. The advertising is great, the original music they produced should have been in the game. I also have quite a few favorite pokemon from this generation, and I like Gigantamax enough. To me it had a lot in common with Z-moves, but I mean, we got new forms. It just was funny for taking the pocket out of pocket monsters. Nothing was pocket-sized about Dynamax. I also feel like Pokemon knows this generation has a lot of popular new pokemon as well as we get quite a few from this generation regularly marketed and merchandised to us in multiple ways.

Mr. Ryme is one of my favorite Galar Pokemon, for the simple fact that his tap dancing fits with every song in the game! I particularly love making a picnic in the Windon stadium because that music paired with his dance can always cheer me up, no matter what😂

In meouth’s defence the hair looking like one solid piece makes sense because it’s supposed to be matted fur look up what matted hair looks like. And because the hair is supposedly hardened as well that’s what gives it it’s steel typing The hair on his head becomes even harder and that’s what makes the helmet of its evolution.

Boltund's tail turns into a lightning bolt when it attacks in game! All the spikey elements are on attack! The resting pose doesn't show that. Also, the goofball element is a good thing, even if it's not your thing.

About the more “humanoid” Pokémon, it could be like how the Pokémon are inspired by real world stuff, in universe the inverse could be possible. For example maybe Kiss exist in the Pokémon universe and they took their inspiration from the Obstagoon line

I went into sword and shield blind on the starter evolutions, picked grass like I normally do, got to rillaboom and deleted my save after seeing him. Then I picked sobble and never looked back. Inteleon is the best starter from gen 8. If rillaboom didn't have the drum set he would prob be my favorite but the drum set just ruins it for me.

Stunfisk-G is an F tier to me because of the sole reason it's existence made me agree with the Dexit crowd. I was using Stunfisk as a way to make fun of the people complaining about Dexit by saying "Boo hoo, I can't have my Stunfisk in the game to use in competitive anymore! Waaahahaaaa, shut up you'd just make more box filler happen!" and then I saw this thing in game and I was stunned for a minute thinking how and why did THIS THING have to be in here and get a regional variant yet Skitty wasn't and didn't? If I couldn't have my Skitty, at least this thing didn't exist in here either, but here it is and now I agree with Dexit crowd.

Idk how I feel about gen 8 I sorta loved it but the sheer disappointment I felt about some of it really soured my experience the Pokédex cut was disappointing but never bothered me that much. For me it was the performance, the starters and the reused animations trying to trade with friends could be a nightmare and the more difficult raids was impossible to get into due to gatekeeping

My biggest complaints for the starters is how incomplete Inteleon and Cinderace look compared to their mid stage evolutions. And Rillaboom for some reason doesn't get Gorilla Tactics in the SAME generation it was introduced!

I think SWSH are the biggest offenders of untapped or wasted potential. More than anything, we should’ve gotten sequels or a third version to fully expand on the lore and Pokemon of the region. Holy Rolycoly, it irks me a lot seeing many of my favourites/high tiers from this gen so low (Scorbunny, Rookidee, Dottler, Obstagoon, Copperajah, Drakloak) while the actual stinkers be ranked higher (Chewtle, Stonjourner, Coalossal, Drizzile) than them.
