Hi. I got plantar fasciitis awhile back. It was brought on by walking around my house barefoot. Carpet kinda thin and concrete underneath. I bought the boot on Amazon and it fixed it in less than two weeks. I’m recovering now from Peroneal tendonitis! Uneven ground walking. Very long recovery due to misdiagnosis. Treatment is ankle stabilization brace similar to yours but more rigid. Best pain med was meloxicam. It’s not instant. A couple days after starting I realized my foot pain was greatly improved. Ellen, I have had a lot of success easing overuse injuries with acupuncture. I get treated for my hands and elbows. I have had acupuncture treatment for plantar fasciitis before and the relief was similar to the relief I get in my hands. I don't understand acupuncture.... But when you hurt you will try anything to see if it works. It is worth a try!

Hi Ellen I started with this over a year ago , The pain was so bad like you I could hardly put my foot down . I am also on my feet all day so couldnt give it the amount of rest it needed. After a lot of Internet scrolling and testing lots of things people recommend what actually worked for me was 1. The exercises before getting out of bed , 2. Very good insoles VALsole Orthotic insole Arch suport (Amazon) Which I have in all shoes /boots and wellies (Flower farmer in England ...very wet😂wellies are my every day footwear) 3. And the thing I felt helped the most, sports injury tape ( There are some good youtube videos on how to strap your foot ) I never put weight on my foot without these 2 supports even if nipping the loo in the night 😂. It took a long time but it has now been clear for a couple of months . If I know im going to have a really long day I will still put the sports tape on just to give my foot extra suport as I dont want to ever get that back again .Thanks for all your videos they are very informative especially the series talking to a flower farmer, it was so helpful. Oh Ellen I feel for you! My sisters have had plantar fasciitis so I was so afraid of getting it too - and I did have a huge flair up of it. Some things to share from my experience. What started my flair up was playing pickleball on a cement surface for a couple hours. When I saw the floor of your shop I thought - yikes! Could you get more mats for where you walk around your shop in addition to the one you have where you stand? Cement is the worst!! Also - I discovered Oofos shoes - I have the flip flops and the slides and I really love the slides the most for around the house - I can wear socks with them too year round. I immediately felt relief when I put them on.

Good idea for more mats! I haven't heard of those shoes but i'll check them out. I wear crocs in the house but have been eyeing the Hoka recovery slides. I'll check Oofos too! I love anything that gives immediate relief!

Try to buy Oofos shoes. I have mine for 8 months now and am mostly pain free. It feels weird in the beginning but helps a lot. Downsides: they are 150 a pair and don’t last for ever. My soles have holes after 8-9 months of daily use.
