Performance Pro Pumps are about $1300 you would need at least 1/8 horse power with a leaf basket. Artesian also make a good pump. You can creat aeration by making a rock Stream with Waterfalls and rock. You would need a rubber liner for a stream. But the best and cheapest way to aerate the pond would be a couple of piston driven air pumps for septic tanks with sinking air hose and diffusers.

You also have lots of connections with farmer markets green houses etc for contacts. Do whatever kind of interview you need to for safety and charge an adoption fee.... You will bless other farms and families and get a little back for future feed.

Brooke. You have a well and a pump.Why can't you just run a pipe down the bank, much like you have now, and then attach a flex hose from there under water toward the center and turn it toward the surface to spout out of??
@sherriecurry496211 ай бұрын
Regarding your geese. I think this is a case of having too much of a good thing. The more geese you have the more poop you will have. That can be problematic since it is only fed by rainwater. Since the pond is fenced the usual predators that steal eggs out of nests such as raccoons and rat snakes are discouraged to enter the pond area. Do you have many fish? Lastly, think of the goose eggs with the same detachment as you do chicken eggs. Those are food that you harvest daily. Goose eggs have often been preferred by people who gather them daily as food. You will not be able to find them all and those little goslings will still happen. If you don't find a way to dispose of the eggs you do find you could end up with a hundred geese. This will be a yearly dilemma. Addressing that this first year will become a step in maintaining a lovely and healthy pond.

I found this when poking around about geese and eggs: *The female lays eggs about every 1.5 days. Once all the eggs are laid, incubation begins. The eggs are incubated for 28 days. The average clutch size is 5 eggs, though 2-12 eggs is possible.* So you might be right about the dozens of goslings. Good luck with the doctors.

Just some FYI. My daughter had thrush and we did 4 rounds of meds and it was getting worse. A doctor friend told me to use vinegar and water (think it was 3 to 2 but you can look it up). In no time at all it was gone using vinegar and water and 4 Rxs didn't get rid of it. You could try swabbing your mouth few times a day. It certainly won't hurt but might help. Look up the particulars, it's an old remedy that works.
