Quaint, rustic, charming.....ahhh what a glorious property. I think that the pit cleaned out a filled with water.....a wrought iron fence around it would be awesome. Safe for people, pets. Wonderful property for a writer or artist. I love it but I love rustic properties in general. Asking price seems a bit high to me but we also cant see the views in the video and I bet it gorgeous in the spring and summer months.

Thank you Nick for bringing us one in this price range. Not a bargain, that’s for sure. Rustic rental. Probably does recoup some cost each year, but…Lots of international buyers out there who may jump at it, but it’s "potential" can only be realized slowly and would require significant investment. Seems about 80k over to me.

What significant investment? Everything is there and one could stay there tomorrow so significant investments are not absolutely necessary imo. But yes it's not luxurious I agree. If you want the latest bathroom and latest kitchen then you will need to invest. But main issue to me would be that it only has one bedroom so it's less suitable for families with multiple older kids and/or guests will have to sleep on the couch in the living room etc. For that reason I also think it is somewhat overpriced. Otherwise it's a nice property. Price also depends on location etc.

@@mradventurer8104 I think we see it in a similar way. The investment I reference is a response to Nicks points on potential changes. Yes, it could be a much nicer property with some investment. It is nice as it is. I think at 145k there would be an incentive to consider it. But at 225k, in a rural setting, I don’t get that price. I am grateful that Nick features homes like this. It’s not typical and has a story behind it. It wouldn’t suit an aging person or couple. I see it as a short term rental investment, but still over priced.

This is a very nice property. The house has great history. It could use some sprucing up, but nothing major. Since there's also some ground and a pool so you can enjoy the outdoors, I think the price is reasonable considering what it would be in the US. Great to see Macchi again! Nick, another bang up job. Mackie is just the cutest dog and so well behaved. You do a great job of showing off these properties. Marcelo was a surprise lol. Toilet lid down however so well behaved. I thought that big pit was scary though and the steep stairs not for my old knees. I can see why it’s a great rental but only for a couple not a family. Can you imagine them falling into the pit?

Charming and romantic indeed! The downstairs loo could actually fit a large shower or tub where tge toilet is, if you moved the toilet to the main space, definately room for it. Nice that this small house has a good sized bit of land with it AND a swimmingpool, that's very unexpected for two rooms and a kitchen! What a beautiful spot, and Macchi looks very handsome in the mistly light too! Love the rustic style here and location.
