i fully respect your decision, sounds like you’ve been a bit burned outta hermitcraft and that’s perfectly fine, if it feels like a chore i suggest taking all the time you need to make animating fun again, and from personal experience, don’t keep pushing yourself or it’ll just get worse and worse.

My god, the attention to detail is amazing! I feel like you really nailed most of the principles of animation.. The way the hair movement is delayed, making everything more realistic, the body language was so good, I listened again muted and could easily deduce what was happening and what each one felt.. I might be new here, but I can already see that you're impressive :P
