What an amazing little channel! Was very happy KZbin suggested me your videos, it’s very rare for Warhammer hobbyist to use armor scale model techniques on 40k minis. Looking forward to your future vids 👍

Awesome work. Especially showing you're mistakes with the welds and how to correct them. It doesn't just show that mistakes happen and they aren't the end of the world, but showing how they happened and what they look like. A lot of hobbyists, myself included, have given up when their work doesn't match a tutorial.

I know the feeling too. I tried to write something here in a few takes, but it’s a big topic to cover. Just saying 'don’t take it that seriously' or 'don’t be that hard on yourself' is just not cutting it. Maybe it’s an idea for future vids to cover that, because I saw that this topic appears from time to time in various places. No wonder it is so important since we devote so much time to this hobby.

Nightshift is also a very nice channel. Nice to see you taking his techniques and using them for some awesome Dioramas.

I've seen quite a few 40K models made one's own in my time, but I can say with certainty that this is one of the best I've ever laid eyes on. *Incredibly* well done, sir; can't wait to see it once it's painted.

Amazing build! The attention to little details and textures is incredible. Also, I've heard a common way to make welds on miniatures is to mix Tamiya glue with sprue bits to make a sort of melted plastic mix that looks really good as welds. Great video!

Yes, I heard about that too. I'm not sure if one method is better than the other, but I'll probably test it sometime. Thank you very much!

Just a tip if u want it, when I was learning to weld my tech old me that a good weld bead looks like a stack of coins that had tipped over
@WARdrobeWorkshop22 сағат бұрын
Thanks, m8! I appreciate all the tips. ;) Funny enough, I did a welding course some time ago, so technically I'm supposed to know what I'm doing. :D Today, I will get a new mounting arm for my phone, which I record everything on, so I won't have my hand locked in one position. This video I recorded with a tripod resting over my wrist. :D Maybe I'll get better results then. But that is also a funny idea for a community post, maybe i will find my weld samples. Never worked as a welder though. Cheers!

Killed a "Primaris" Dreadnought, so no harm no foul.
@WARdrobeWorkshop22 сағат бұрын
U r not a fan of them? :D I don't know the lore too deep but i like kinda tech-heresy vibe around them. Admech did that so it's ok though :D
@EmeraldFatalis18 сағат бұрын
@@WARdrobeWorkshop I dont like that GW removed/stopped making the older "cooler looking" Dreadnoughts and only make these now. The size is better/bigger, but the design is lacking now. Lore is everything is moved to Primaris now.

Don't buy tamiya extra thin buy their airbrush cleaner instead it's basically the same product works exactly the same and cost alot less
@WARdrobeWorkshop2 күн бұрын
And I just ordered Vallejo cleaner today... :D maybe it will work as well? thanks for the tip, will check that ;)
@JR-je7ce2 күн бұрын
@WARdrobeWorkshop no has to be tamiya unfortunately they make the cement and airbrush cleaner from the same 2 chemicals just slightly different percentages only use tamiya cleaner for your airbrush if using tamiya paints though as its made to break down their paints
