I’m hoping that the Jedi order from the post Ep 9 era change the way they select students to join the order, maybe instead of going around the galaxy taking force sensitive children they instead make it to where you can chose to join the Jedi order or not, even non-force sensitives can join since in the Ahsoka series we learn that anyone can use the force as long as they practice hard enough.

I think I've analyzed every possible ending for Barriss: 1. Let's start with the question: why is she there? Firstly, let's consider the symbolic significance of the Inquisition and Barriss and what connects them. The Inquisition was inspired by Barriss' speech, which could even be considered as the cornerstone of their establishment. In this scenario, it's nothing but a form of reckoning with the past for Barriss. She'll be surrounded by people who might even admire her, but they are murderers, and she indirectly took part in their creation. She'll be forced to do what they do, which might lead her to blame herself or even hate herself. 2. Now, what could be considered a failure and what a victory? It's crucial to understand that Barriss has lost absolutely everything, and the game will revolve around the last thing she has left - her morality. Barriss turning to the dark side wouldn't be a failure. She herself doesn't acknowledge the concept of light and dark sides; she only believes in the Force. It doesn't matter to her whether she uses the light or dark side. A failure would be complete indoctrination and becoming a murderer. She cannot abandon her moral code. It might sound harsh, but she must feel hatred towards herself rather than pride or ignorance. She cannot abandon her morality; otherwise, she will be lost. (Her downfall potentially would resemble that of Dooku, who abandoned his morality for Sidious.) Another failure could be a scenario in which Barriss accepts that she deserves nothing more and humbly accepts it as punishment for everything she has done. Another potential failure could be that this is some Palpatine's plan. We don't know that for sure. All we know is that instead of receiving the death penalty, Barriss ended up in a cell, and we can't be 100% sure if Palpatine cares about Barriss' fate. A draw could be considered if there are no changes, meaning that Barriss sees evil again and starts to radicalize internally to try to destroy evil, just as she did in the Clone Wars. In this case, she wouldn't learn anything. Her morality would still be noble but naive and blind. It would most likely end in her death. A victory could be betrayal but in the form of desertion. Instead of fighting at all costs, she accepts the realities. She recognizes evil and accepts its existence but doesn't join it. In this case, Barriss could receive one of the most valuable lessons (how to let go), and Luminara could give her this final lesson, hoping for Barriss' redemption. 3. Additionally, On paper, Barriss has greater Force potential than Maul, and now she will be further trained. We don't know what Barriss will do with this knowledge, but if she accepts it as part of herself while also accepting her past and Jedi teachings, we will be talking about a very strong Force user. Perhaps for the first time, we might even see a combination of Form 3 with Form 7, which would make her a deadly threat to any opponent. Who knows, maybe she'll even kill Marrok in this way, but that's pure speculation.

@@theelderkingstation3502 If we look at midi-chlorians, Barriss has around 14,000 - comparable to members of the Jedi Council, and even more than some of them. Maul had around 12,800, but due to injury, it decreased to around 11,000 (I'm not sure about the specific numbers, but I know Barriss has more). That's one of the reasons why she was such a great Force Healer at such a young age.

They've made it a point to have one side of the poster showcasing Morgan's story and the other side showcasing the story for Barriss. Luminara would be on the same side as Barriss on the poster. Good theory though.

There is only one issue....Grevius takes out the night sisters before order 66. So it couldn't be a trap by Baris. Maybe a flashback while Luminara and Barris are still working together.

I would love for that to be luminara. One of my favorite Jedi. I've been waiting to see her barriss interactions after her bombing of the Jedi temple. I think when barriss fights the grand inquisitor she uses a green light saber barriss had a blue one luminara has a green one I think that's luminaras light saber. That would be amazing

An argument that could be had is about the Empire and Jedi obtaining Force sensitive younglings. Personally I do not consider their actions to be the same, the Jedi convinced parents that the younglings needed training very early in life so they could better control and be less likely to abuse their abilities whare as the Empire took the younglings without the consent of the parents. But I guess it all comes down to ones perspective on morality.

I think people have the cad bane quote from boba goofed up to a wicked extent. I don't think he said that to imply bane himself never did and that there is a right and wrong decision to make. It's just something he said so seeds of doubt were planted and imply Boba isn't who he appears to be

Oh, I just remembered something? Vader's training the inquisitors were really brutal. One of the things required is that he'd cut off a limb or a piece from a limb as part of his so-called training. So I'm curious about what limb will Vader cut off of Barriss Offee?😨 Eeeee, that's disturbing to think about.😰

I think tat is probably Luminara, but we may be in for a twist, Remember, the Grand Inquisitor, did not say Luminara was dead, he said "she died with the republic" . But the republic did not die, it became the empire with most of its internal organs (such as the senate) functioning as before. Could Luminara have not died, but become the nth Sister? As for the books, we know how much of a bantha;s back side Filoni gives about those.

The Republic did die. The empire replaced it and was destroying everything associated with the Republic. The jedi order, democracy, clone troopers, and by the time of ANH, Palpatine disbanded the senate, so only the governors and moffs were incharge with the Death Star using fear to maintain order. And Luminara is dead. We see her corpse in Rebels used as bait for jedi survivors.

@@hellstrom4209 The clone troopers were slowly phased out out by the TKs, just as cells in an organism are replaced. This does not mean the organism is dead it means it is alive. Even the Jedi order was not destroyed entirely but "fell" to become the Inquisitorius, under the leadership of the only surviving member of the council that had not committed treason (at least according to Pallpatine). But the beating hart of the Republic was the senate, which continued to function largely democratically as before until the time of ANH, which was long after the grand inquisitor made his statement about Luminara. As for the corps seen in Rebels, it could easily have been a fake, just as the images of Lminara walking around the cell were fake. Obviously Luminara died on the light side, but so did Anakin, so that proves nothing. Now, do I actually think Luminara became an inquisitor? No. But things are not always as they seem.

Great video! And sorry this doesn't really have to do with it, but it bothers me how Cad Bane was killed by Boba Fett. Cad bane went toe-to-toe with some of the best jedi and came out on top and to have him stabbed by Boba doesn't give a justified ending to such a great character imo.

Cad Bane is NOT being a hypocrite at all. He's not saying "your a bad person but I'm a good one". He's saying "you're just as bad as me, a killer and a monster, stop pretending you're some kind of pillar of the community. You don't care about these people any more than I do." To the people who were flocking to Boba for protection, this would have been disheartening, and in Fett himself it was supposed to make him doubt his conviction, and maybe even take a payoff. Fett was beyond that and we know it, but Cad Bane might not have.

the voice that calls to Rey "In the dark find the light" how do we know that that voice is Luminara? i can't stand the animation style in the jedi fallen order and survivor video games. The characters looks too alien to me. It's like an alien trying to hard to look human. You're wrong about the Jedi kidnapping. Yeah sure they didn't allow the younglings to go home for a visit ever but it wasn't a kidnapping. They spoke to the parents of force sensitive children so the parents were aware of it. they basically just brought Jenga into star wars and made it holographic which is cool on the subject of the book of boba fett why was it necessary for them to have Cob Vanth survive and be "modded up" if they decided not to do any more stories?
