Yeah... Its hard because you miss SO many good chances because of yp8r lack of confidence and because sometimes you think you wernt good enough for it anyways like you'll mess up.... And you end up hating your self because you didn't have the guts...But then you think that maybe it was for the best even though it hurt... Alot...And sometimes it makes you emotional.. because everything you went through...

The best thing about dance is when the music hits and the nervousness from performing dissipates and you feel really free. Because of this you can really get out of your mind and be confident with your body. It's one of the most gratifying feelings because it helps you feel sexy with yourself. Ashly really shows this so glad she did this!! Dance is 20% technique and 80% confidence / energy.

Watching this video is really interesting to see how we are all going through different journeys. I grew up dancing and being told how to look pretty/ cute and then sexy with what shoes and clothes to wear to accentuate feminine features. I went through the opposite problem with feeling over sexualized and having everyone look at me in that way but just wanting to be seen as the fun/ goofy person. I’m happy to see she got what she wanted out of this. Dancing can be a great way for expression but I will take the well balanced high top sneakers and hard beat moves any day over the club grinding music and “sexy” bunion causing heals. =P

@@micaelaclifford2729 i’ve heard from a lot of dancers that u should learn the foundation (the basis) of the genre u want to learn :) like hip hop basics such as head movements, exc then u’ll find learning choreos much easier! also practice flexibility, meaning u should stretch before dancing :) good luckk
