Tidy persons don’t have to have OCD, it’s not always linked that way. It is ok to be a tidy person and it can be a character trait. No need to label everything a mental illness (which OCD is classified as). He sees the farms potential, he is ambitious in all fields, so it makes sense he likes things clean/done the right way and wants to have things changed on the farm. Be careful throwing medical terms around.

I have OCD. I have some of the same traits as Cole. NOT saying he has it, just saying there are many levels and different forms of the disease. It’s not some scary secret to be ashamed of and it’s ok to talk about it even if it is generalized as a blanket statement referrIng to organizing and super cleanliness. You really need an edge or border or the rock will keep getting in the grass and be hit by the lawn mower. Best to do it now rather than later when you have your straight line. There is metal landscaping edging or there are “brick” type of edgers.
