Matt, you broke my heart placing Night Drive, Last Drop, and a lot of Red Velvet's slowed songs so low! But like you said, there are so many different tastes out there. And THAT'S why I think you're ONE of the BEST. You're not another mindless stan. You publish your heart on your sleeve and you put the work into your channel for US, on projects like this. I appreciate your following Red Velvet from way back into y(our) Girls Day days. Keep it going strong, man!

I will never shit up about this: the fact that no one can agree on a top 10 red velvet songs ranking only proves that they have something for everyone and they have truly an amazing discography

Seeing Zimzalabim, Bamboleo and Last Drop (Cosmic album in general) so low really hurts but I do appreciate you putting Attaboy and Birthday higher, usually everyone just throws them at the bottom of the list

i’m enjoying how back and forth it is between the red side and the velvet side in your lower rankings becuase usually you can see a distinct line between people who definitely prefer their slower songs vs those who enjoy their upbeat ones when they first listen to rv even thought these are mainly all first and only listens you can definitely see the types of songs you prefer once you get into the 60s rankings. and just a thought for myself becuase i know title tracks are supposed to go with their music videos but i feel like watching the mvs might’ve influenced your ranking a little bit becuase it creates and experience vs just listening (i’m not saying their title tracks aren’t top tier tho) but if everyone else likes it for streaming purposes i say keep it!

If you watch again, I *think* you can see the line between *newer* and *older* RV. Which I guess kinda reflects my taste changing as I age as well since I've listened to RV since their debut really.. Pre 2018 I had their "RED" stuff higher, Post 2018 I had their "Velvet" stuff higher. Although I do feel like their tone shifted as well. When they debuted, it kinda seemed like "Velvet" was supposed to be soft and ballad-like, and as they grew as a group, it slowly transformed into R&B "smooth" style, and "Red" was chaotic randomness. But still, yeah I think if you watch this again and keep in mind the dates it came out, the "old" stuff I preferred RED and the new stuff I prefer Velvet~

Eyes Locked Hands Locked is the song that solidified Joy as one of my favorite vocalists, so I'd have it a lot higher in my personal list. Im My Dreams, Kingdom Come and Bye Bye are also some of my favorite side tracks, so that's something we agreed on.

Chill kill being so low hurt me a little but it’s okay I just being in the top 20 redeemed it lol. Chill Kill as an album is probably my favourite release by them I think conceptually it’s really well done and while there are a few songs I’m not huge on the songs I love on that album I LOVE.

Whaaaat???? Nooooo I love R&B 😅. There’s lots of r&b towards the top too~ red velvet just have a lot of it 🤷‍♂️ (which is why they’re one of my most listened to groups)

All this told me is that I have no idea what your taste is hahahahhaha because after the first several at the bottom I was like ok I get it... but then it started to take a turn and I was like... I have no idea hhahahaa But Psycho being at the top is a very casual Red Velvet listener thing I think? However, what's funny is that your album ranking isn't so bad for me other than Cosmic being so low - I haven't thought about Cosmic in context but if I was pressed (at least a couple albums ago - like when Birthday came out) I would have had the same top 3 albums. Sassy Me and Underwater in the top is the closest our personal taste collides I think!

Psycho for me is like, it's just a damn good song.. I know it's a very casual thing and I do have about 50% of these songs playlisted lol (RV are one of my most listened to groups in general over the years, I just never considered myself a Reveluv), but like, Psycho's composition & vocal performance is just astonishing to me and gets me every time. I don't know what it is hahaha.

😭 it's not slander ... I just can't sit through ballads that are very one dimensional and slow, no matter how gorgeous the voices or lyrics may be. (And Night Drive, I'm just not a retro/city pop person at all, then add in the slower tempo... recipe for disaster for me). Not here to say they're bad songs, just not in my musical palette~
