Although the place is nice and big especially for one person, I live 2 hours away by train from the city and I’m super isolated from my friends. Currently in a self isolation arc it kinda sucks the place is nice though. I also forgot to mention that this is temporary I can’t live here forever unfortunately so I’m a bit worried about not being able to find a place. I’m pretty defeated and monotone rip.

Not sure if you already do this, but have you ever considered doing 1on1 fashion coaching/wardrobe analysing? I feel like you could charge at least 20/30$ for someone to send you pictures of their usual wardrobe rotation and then spend an hour telling them what works what doesnt, what style & pieces to pursue etc. Love your vids and hope all is well with the apartment situation soon!

Prices are good in Astoria. Would reccomend. 20-40 minutes into manhattan via the NW depending on what part. Relatively difficult to get to Brooklyn though. But you can get a 1 bedroom sub 2K.

Wait, hold on -- here in California living in an office building is somewhat not possible. You can live in it, but if the property finds out you're treating an office like a residence they can come and kick you out. Reason being offices aren't usually up to code for habitation and the landlords are probably gonna get mad because you're using power/resources outside of work hours. But if you can kick it then living in an office is usually pretty cheap + parking. But the reason WHY it's cheap is that, again, its not built up to residential code, and also your landlord pays less in insurance I think

Wait idk if making 80 thousand can afford you $4000 rent cuz if you make 84 thousand a year you get 7000 dollars a month which after taxes is about 5000 which means after rent you only have 1000 dollars to work with a month.

After NY state taxes it’s closer to 4,300 a month. You don’t have 1 Grand left over, you have to pay for utilities and transportation in addition to personal bills. Plus, you are not supposed to be spending the majority of your income on rent, ideally it should be 10% or less
