If you end up going to byron bay you HAVE to dive julian rocks. It is an amazing sight with lots of sharks, turtles and rays. When my friend went diving there she heard whale songs! 🐋😊. Congrats on getting your padi!

Wow I really enjoyed your video, when I was a child I always dream about converting my self in to a diver, than dream came true when I started the university as electronic engineer but I never thought that i gonna have so many experiences, going deeper every time and having major responsibilities of my self and my diving group, became the immersion guide, play the dive route, verifying that path every 5 minutes whit my subacuático compass, be very carefully with the deep and maintaining that, and even the fun of guide my surface signal in to the water surface. After two very hard years I became a 3 stars diver, rescue diver and surprisingly one of the worlds youngest scientific divers also. I really miss that good times when I could went deeper in the water, now as an Architect specialized in architectural acoustics I haven’t enough time to do that, I hope I could make that marvelous journey again soon, and I’m so glad you could discover the amazing world beneath the water surface. My best wishes for you

Very much not! I am a strong shark advocate so here is my pitch. You are more likely to get killed by a coconut than a shark. We kill well over 1 million sharks per year and they kill 6-8 or us, and of the 150+ species of sharks, only 5 are capable of doing any real harm to people. If you are responsible in the water and respect sharks you have nothing to worry about. In fact sharks are great for humans. They are hugely important in maintaining many marine ecosystems (coral reefs, seagrass beds....) which provide many benefits to humans, from fish to eat, carbon sequestration (the oceans abosorb more than 30% of co2 we emit), protection from coastal erosion ( reefs form breakwaters) and providing new medicines (algae, coral and other marine species are now a huge area of pharmaceutical research) . When sharks are removed from areas fish populations go completely out of wack and there are devastating implications on ecosystems and the economy. In these ways healthy shark populations make humans much safer. Check out shark girl maddison on instagram or sharkwater for some great info on sharks and what we are doing to them. Hope this changes your opinions of sharks🦈🦈
