This video epitomizes why I like Hestia despite her clingy, one-sided and very tropey affection for Bell because she doesn't try to undermine him. She knows that Bell may never love her like she loves him, but she builds him up and makes him better despite that, out of responsibility as his Goddess, but mainly out of her love for him. She is letting herself suffer to better a person in her care, a person that she cares deeply for.

I don't think Yoshitsugu Matsuoka's performance can be understated here. Unlike SAO and a lot of his other works it really seems like he's always giving Danmachi his all and he brings a lot of emotion and tenacity to a character that could've felt really flat and boring wiithout such a good, emotive voice behind him.

If I remember correctly, Bell's unique skill is "argonaut." This helps him further increase his abilities as he levels up but only as long as he remains determined on a goal. The White Rabbit shall charge onward once again.

Sora9199 Almost mate. Argonaut is his second skill, it’s just the first one that Hestia tells him about. Argonaut, in a nutshell, allows him an opportunity to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. It’s the white, for lack of better term, laser he uses sporadically when he’s in over his head (the only reason they live at the end of season one). The skill you’re thinking of is “Realis Phrase” which provides increased growth; and the more that he wants to grow then the faster he does grow. This skill is why he is as strong as he at the end of episode 8 despite having only been adventuring for a month. Sorry if I seem condescending, I just love the series (the light novels are some of the most well written I’ve had the pleasure of reading and I highly recommend them) :)

@@ZealousWZephyr to further clarify, Argonaut isn't a laser. That was his powered up Firebolt. Argonaut is basically a charge move that let's him power up his abilities the longer he charges. This is important because as he gets more familiar with the skill, he discovers he can charge not only Firebolt, but his body or even weapons.
