You never know maybe he wouldn't be around for 40 years if he had been constantly changing price like the restaurants you see today that pop up and fail every year.

I am so happy to see this guy is still doing what he enjoys i remember watching a video about him a good while back and he had a bad leg i felt so bad for him it weighed heavy on me, seeing him get so little rest and struggle to set up his store :(. I am genuinely happy he is still doing ok i wish him all the best i am not religious but if there is a god i hope he takes care of this man. Thank you for these videos i am English but love and respect the Japanese culture.

以前違う動画にてこの方を拝見しました。 大将の最後のインタビュー聞いて、ただ、ただ号泣でした。 客がまっちょるけん、カカァのためにもって… 暑くても、身体がキツくても自分よりも他人優先 そして謙虚さ。 あと人生、命掛けてる感が滲み出てるしまさに魂! これが本当の日本人のあるべき姿なのかなと思いました。 身体に気をつけてこれからも出来るだけ長くラーメンを作っていただきたいなと思いました。

I've been following this gentleman on youtube for some time. I'm glad he's recovered from surgery and able to continue something he obviously loves and takes great pride in. I only wish I could visit Japan to try his ramen. Maybe one day.😊

... I grew up in Seattle in the 80s and 90s and in the 2000s played music because that is what we were doing there then. (...still even.) There are so many words that I could say about how much I still want to travel and see how the rest of the world lives, and I still am grateful that I can at least see and appreciate craftsmanship. This gentlemen embodies the true Japanese spirit. Even though his movements are labored he pushes onward and never gives up. I think it is everyone’s dream to be just as strong as this gentleman is in our own old age. I wish for eternity stamina and good health to this great man 🙏
