I've been listening to dozens of recordings of this song. Simply got addicted to it, amazed at the meaning and harmony. Your performance is really great. Now I have worked through the night translating the lyrics into Polish so that I could have the rhythm, the rhymes and the meaning. I can finally sing my own version, not on KZbin though. I’m Australian. The Seekers are renowned here. They pushed the Beatles off the number 1 spot in the Uk a couple of times, and the Beatles were at their peak at the time. The Seekers are so well known here that very few Australians attempt covers of their songs. I am very impressed with your vocal arrangements. One of the problems you have with Seekers material is that you don’t have anyone with the stratospheric high like their Keith Potger I love how you’ve accounted for that so many people wouldn’t notice there’s only 3 of you not 4 and no ones singing Del McCoury like high tenor harmony. The vocals sound full and rich and complete. Because of these factors, this is a very ambitious project, and you pull it off. In style! Well done!
