@@Ahmad-os3si Nah i think he really did lose them like car keys. Most common knowledge is you hit your upper back you hit your rear delts so people tend to ignore them and when we do delts work people thought they hit the rear delts but end up hitting the traps instead. It's developing weak links. Imagine doing bench work the bro way then started doing it the nerd way and you'd be surprised how less you hit the front delts once you switch to nerd way coz doing bench work on weightlifter mode hits the front delts more and doing bench work with shoulders backed and going deep and slow hits the front delts less.

@muscularclassrepresentativ56632 ай бұрын
Use light weight or no weight and just spam reps as long as it takes to hurt them with squeezes at the top. Sounds counter intuitive but heavy weight will bamboozle u. Retrain from the ground up making sure you don’t do anything else but seek mind muscle connection in the correct form at a given weight until they hurt and you can feel the contractions fr. They will eventually burn out and be in pain and then you can focus on them. Few sessions like that will build up the neurological connection

I don't know if it's normal or if I should continue doing this. Before anyone tells me why you are beginner and cutting, I already have good amount of muscle mass naturally before lifting weights I weigh 80 kg in 17% bodyfat (not sure if it's true but I have veins overall my body they are seeing through skin in chest, shoulder etc.) height 175 cm.

8-12 reps is still good for muscle growth for most excercises. as long as your progressing in either weight or reps then that is all you should be worried about. Even if you can only do 1/3 (10 instead of 30) of the reps on higher weight, if your able to keep proper technique while also pushing your muscle near or to failure, then its still better. keep in mind that lower rep ranges typically progress strength better.

@instantsiv because once there was interview with Ronnie coleman and he sayed its adviceable even if someone is on steroids to not be lifting weights over an hour, exclusive walking to choose weight, adjust machine, warm up muscles, increase heart rate by walk, in other words everything someone do exclusive lifting weights not count in this one hour, so if i do fast reps i can guarantee my self iam not doing wrong because Ronnie coleman sayed that. Correct me if I am wrong. I think no educated people who go to the gym spend at gym more than 1 hour by lifting weights only.

His video quality doesn't change the workouts. Plus he hasn't been lifting for views, he just likes hitting big numbers

I fully agree with a slightly rounded back and not full range of motion for rear delts. Always felt like if I go full range it's all back instead of delts

Thanks for explaining this! I'm new (~2 mos) but trying to target shoulders and delts specifically. I was doing the same exercises with full extension and was having the same prroblem, not feeling the muscle activate. Can't wait to try this later.

Damn. I needed this desperately. It is the quite the coincidence that I loaded up a ton of weight earlier this morning and my trainer called me out on that. And now I happen to stumble upon this video. Need to cut back on weights a few ounces

I do the cable workut you showed but only use 14kg or lighter and hit 12-16 reps, occasionally I can 18-20. The difference is that I round my upper back- kyphosis. I used to do it by mistake but realised that my upper back never moved during the workout, thereby sort of isolating the rear delts.

I always have trouble targeting my rear delts. Thank you Doctor
