Such a beautiful and hilarious lady. I actually didn’t know a lot about her personal background so I appreciate the tribute to all of her life. I swear to God that episode when she accidentally lights her fake nose on fire is one of the funniest things ever 😂. I can’t recall which one of the two of them passed away first but I believe I heard the other one of them stayed by their side even though divorced. I do recall when she died I was driving to work when I heard on radio and wasn’t expected news. Anyway I used up all the space here, I just big fan of her’s..great lady. (No relation). Thanks Chris beautiful job !

I love this video and I Love Lucy! 🥰 My mother was good friends with Lucy. Mom was the hairdresser for Ethel Merman when she was in Gypsy. Lucy would come into the dressing room to chat with Ethel. My Mom told her that if she was going to stay in the room that she would have to hand her hairpins! 🤣

I'll never forget the episode where they were working in a chocolate factory and the belt was going too fast! LOL I also loved the episode where she was stomping the grapes. All of them were gold. The show is still in syndication on some channels. May she forever RIP. Thanks, Chris! Your videos are always very interesting and informative. We always learn something. :-)

I had the pleasure of meeting Lucille Ball in 1977 Universal Studios. She had just finished filming one of her episodes of Here's Lucy ( Desiree Productions was located at Universal Studios, and back then people were allowed to walk around some of the areas), and was walking back to her trailer when I saw her. I called out to her saying " Hi Mrs. Ball " she said " Hello " and waved me to come over to her. I was a 11 yr old little girl who was ( and still am) a fan of hers after all these years. We talked for about 40 minutes before my family and I had to leave to head back to San Diego but she gave me a huge hug, told my older brother who was about to leave for Japan for 4 years ( Marines) to be safe, and Thanked him for his service, and then had 3 Polaroid pictures taken of all of us together ( 1 for her, 1 for me, and 1 for my brother to take with him). My all time favorite three episodes of I LOVE LUCY that she did were the Harpo Marx, John Wayne, and the Brown Derby Restaurant episodes. My all-time favorite movie of hers is "Yours, Mine, and Ours."

I was just there last Monday June 13th! I showed my boyfriend her grave after driving by my grandma’s old house in Stowe Street! We then went to the statues before heading out back home to Illinois. We didn’t have the time to search for the girl in the glass grave but I told him she’s buried somewhere in this cemetery. I’m glad you got a chance to see this and the museum. Next time home I’m planning on going to the Lucy Museum

I always enjoyed watching Lucy on "I Love Lucy" and loved the movie " Long, Long Trailer" that I have on DVD. She was a very comic lady. I didn't know of her involvement with the Three Stooges another show I loved. Lucy passed away the same year my Grandmother did. My Grandmother passed away January 5, 1989 and Lucy passed away a few months later in April. I enjoyed this video and things shared about Lucy and seeing her final resting place.

I had the pleasure of Visiting Jamestown and viewing Lucy's grave as well as the Lucy/Desi Museum. Also visited her 2 homes. Her original birth home is in Jamestown. The other one where she grew up was in a town right next to Jamestown. The current owner of the birth home decorated the garage in likeness of Lucy's famous pokadot dress. Also, the Murals around town are very cool. I think there were seven scattered throughout the town.

🌠✴Thanks Chris!!!! Yes, no question Lucy was a LEGEND in her own time. I NEVER was a BIG FAN of hers, but NEVER QUESTIONED her talent. I ALWAYS felt kindof sorry for Desi though. Lucy ALWAYS said he was the BRAINS BEHIND THEIR STUDIO, but I don't believe he ever got the Credit he deserved. Anywho, Thank-You for taking us with you on your journey!!!!

I'll always be grateful for Lucy taking a chance on a fledgling show called "Star Trek" in 1964. Her studio worked with Gene Roddenberry to help develop the show for NBC. If it weren't for Lucille Ball, Star Trek wouldn't have become the entertainment franchise that it is today. Star Trek has millions of fans around the world and spanning generations of people. It was all thanks to her.

Thank you Whittdoc. 👍💯❤👏👏👏. I agree with everything you said. I can't imagine not having known her talent. We all watched I love lucy, the reruns, the work she continued to do. Imagine having someone tell you they don't think you can make it, or this isn't what you should do. If she didn't have Moxy, determination. The will to not let others tell her she was not cut out to do what she did. They was wrong. She is a icon. I can't imagine not having the I love Lucy show. Or the Lucille Ball show. The laughs, how she inspired other females to want to act, get into comedy.the world would not be the same. I enjoy the reruns, watching her make us laugh. Her show was wholesome clean entertainment that famlies could watch, no violence or profanity. Just humor, fun and good Entertainment. Her shows are Classic. I still enjoy when I can turn on the TV and be Entertained by this Icon. To know eventhough she has passed, many Generations can watch and be Etertained by this comic Icon. Thank you Chris for reminding us of this Classic Icon.👍. Those who didn't know can see her final resting place. And go visit and pay Respect to her. Years ago while shopping in Walmart. In the DVD bin, I was able to by several different episodes of ILove Lucy. I'm glad I did because you can't get 2 for 5 dollars classic movies and shows anymore. Love,Respect, and Positivity Always. Neita James. 🙂✌🖖👋.

Boy, few predictions have ever been more wrong than the people who told her she had no future in entertainment! She's only one of the most iconic figures in the history of television, and entertainment in general as Desilu Studios was also responsible for producing shows like "The Andy Griffith Show," "Star Trek," and "Mission:Impossible," to name a few, which would not have been possible without her influence! We still love Lucy:-)
