It's good 20% of the time but 80% of the time you dagger throw and don't get eviscerate and have to make due with defend taking 7. Plus now you don't have enough cards to draw next turn so you get an early shuffle putting all the dazes into your deck. Things can go pretty poorly from there. And remember the bad scenario is far more likely. It was a line considered in the spreadsheet though

So Slice doesn’t make you better at dealing damage on turns where you’re spending all your energy on attacking, but it does make you better at dealing damage on turns when you’re spending energy on blocking, right? Like the first couple turns of most hallway fights?

Slice can also make it harder to use all your energy on block, since you drew it rather than a block card.

At 3:40 Jorbs explains why he’d rather pick bigger attack cards over cheaper ones, I’m just hypothesizing about a situation where Silent needs more damage and and been offered a zero cost attack without a more expensive alternative.

​@@spencerbowler7287 the game offers so many ways to solve energy generation and so many other better options that slice in silents card pool basically never makes sense. It theoretically could be beneficial on some turns is more of an argument t against having it dilute your deck.
