GREAT idea! The only thing I'd do myself and you probably actually did it ultimately, is to dab some OSPHO rust converter on your drilled out holes and coat it with grease of some kind! AWESOME video, Paw Paw! Aloha ~ ~ ~

Great idea! What if you could drill another hole above the original hole in the corner and mount the step there ? It would raise the step up 3” to 4” giving you a flat surface before the first step! You could use the pins that have the ball bearing that would hold the pin in the hole? Just another idea, I really liked yours Thanks

If you raise the step up 3”-4” that would cause people to trip and possibly get injury, like me. Each step has be the same distance. I’d blow a knee out for sure lol.

Looks to me that you have a three step but it should be a two step. Who needs a step that sits 1.5 inches off the ground. The fold out steps have adjustable legs for this.

I do have a three step. And at times the bottom set does set that low. But also at time the campground sites are not level and that third step sets high off the ground. And at times, like I explained in my video, it will not sit right. And, that’s why I did this modification. And I’m not a fan of the steps that you are talking about. Perhaps later down the road. I think it would be easier, more productive and safer to just move the trailer a little bit forward backwards or side to side. I have the same steps on the rear door of my trailer and NEVER had that problem.🤷🏻‍♂️
