Good stuff. Pardon the unsolicited advice, but well, it IS Melee, lol. I notice one of your biggest habits is panic rolling. Try to focus more on raw movement like dash dancing and wavedashing to move around. Rolling is very punishable, if your opponents are actually good, they'll be able to capitalize on your habit pretty easily! It seems like one reason you roll a lot comes from not having mastered space spacing or landing aerials. I notice that when you fair, your timing is a bit off, so it's not as safe as it could be. For the best timing, inputting forward on the C-stick at the same time as tapping down at the apex of your jump gives you the fastest and safest landing fair. Also, make sure to get your autocancels down, of course. Developing that consistency will help you build your confidence, and you'll find that you really won't need to roll that often if you're able to play neutral safely. When being pressured in shield, you can use the C-stick to buffer options, and you can use this to jump out of shield. Additionally, flicking holding down on the C-stick allows you to option-select spotdodge and ASDI-down, meaning that even if they hit your spotdodge, you still have options unless the move beats ASDI down. For Marth-specific things, make sure you DON'T jump-cancel grab in neutral against Puff. Crouching Puff low-profiles Marth's standing grab, but dash-grab, while worse in stats, beats crouch. Also, when up against spacies, it's important to make use of uair in combos in strings, because they get juggled to pieces by Marth. When dealing with projectiles, remember that Marth has the best powershield. I also play Fox and Marth, and I personally like to hold center stage with Marth and threaten platforms, so the opponent either has to deal with Marth's grounded options or risk getting hit on platforms. I also typically look for tech/roll-ins because even if the opponent chooses to tech/roll away, you have stage control, and Marth has amazing corner pressure. If they tech or getup in place, Marth has the range to still cover that. When you notice them starting to hold away on techs and rolls a lot, that's when you can start utilizing more committal callouts like dash attack for combos, approaching dtilt to force them offstage if they end up in the corner, ftilt, fsmash, etc. Hope this is helpful. Enjoy the game!

I accidentally took this advice as an absolute for years Eventually had to re-learn to roll + buffer rolls Coming from Brawl didn't help
