I would love to see you trying some new art/craft mediums using some more professional level kits! I know a lot of the kits you’ve tried are things that are “meant for a younger audience” so I’d be curious to see more advanced options and/or higher quality options. I like getting to see people actually try something new with higher chance of success 😆. An example could be the Speedball screenprinting kit. Just the basic level kit is $40 on Amazon and as someone who previously did screenprinting a lot, I’d love to see how it comes out for you. This could be a really good way to still do art without getting flagged as “for children” by KZbin and the FTC. Plus it might hold some sponsorship options for you! Sort of an evolved version of what you’re doing now, where you can craft but also review.
@TriforceLiz5 жыл бұрын
that's EXACTLY what I was thinking! I really do love the kit reviews for the entertainment value but I'm also curious to see what Jackie could really do with more artsy or adult craft/art kits

Liz Right?? I wanna see Jackie’s artistic skills at their full potential. It’s hard not to feel like the kits are often so poor quality or such easy mode that I don’t get to see her shine like I know she can!

Michelle Butler this!!!! I watch her current reviews bc I love the format, but my kids are teenagers. I’m not buying this stuff. i would love to see a twist on reviews of items that bombed in the past, where you do it as written & then where you do it so it would suceed. like a DIY of that craft from the craft store with supplies that you pick up & put together. then compare price as well as how it turned out to see if it's better to pick up the kit or just buy supplies or if the whole premise just sucked.

I would really love to see some reviews of new professional materials and tools of crafting. I love your craft kit reviews but I’d like to see some geared more towards adults (like kits specifically marketed to adult crafters). Maybe new sculpey products, or mediums you haven’t tried before! Personally, I am a huge fan of your crafting videos and your previous tutorials. But I know those didn’t do as well with views. So perhaps somehow combining reviews and your personal crafting could work? You always have a wonderful sense of humor in any video :)

I love watching the videos you do with Sika. How about, like, you putting on a blindfold and having Sika guide you either verbally or by actually moving your hands (or both) while you craft something? That seems ripe for humor but is still making art. I like the reviews and I like the crafting. But I definitely like your videos with your sister the best. They always make me laugh. (And Birb, I love videos with Angel in them).

The reason I like the reviews is because I love to blow money on junk but sadly don’t have the funds to do so. Watching you is almost like a therapy session. I get to see if it is worth it or not and watching you use it helps me to sort of get over getting the craft kit itself, unless it’s awesome. Now I keep debating on S&T elves box. Plus it is funny watching the frustration unfold, because I’ve been there. As for creative stuffs, I find myself drawn to acrylics. I’ve never done them before, but I am dying to and watching you do them makes me feel better prepared for the day when I finally do. A lot of them are amazing looking. Fan base stuff also hooks my interests. I loved you pokemon vase and loved watching you make it. The remaking of figurines is one of my top favorite things to watch, mostly because that makes me want to do the same thing. Rob Czar makes me want to remake stuffed animals lol. I suppose taking things that already exist and putting your twist on them is a lot of fun to watch. You have a specific style that I enjoy and seeing it come to life in different ways is awesome. You’re on the right track, just keep being you. We love you and your quirky ways.

I love your sculpting videos, and it’s amazing to watch you creating something new and innovative. It inspires me in my own artistic endeavours, I like watching your craft videos, whether you are creating an original sculpture, doing a challenge, transforming youtubers into monsters or turning dollar store items into awesome creations I am always entertained by these videos and watch them all the way through. It’d be a shame for these types of videos to disappear, because I love them so much and many art youtubers seem to move away from their craft for other things. Of course, if you no longer enjoy them I understand changing and evolving, however I love seeing you Jackie, working with clay and your sculptures with passion and enthusiasm, and if it something you truly still enjoy, I love watching them and I encourage you to continue with your creative medium. In saying that, I still love listening to your craft reviews while I draw, and it has actually helped me to make decisions on buying kits for the kiddos in my extended family this Christmas, so they are both easy to tune in to and helpful in some way. I am more interested in craft videos, but I’m always down to watch a salty review and I love the character you create when doing them. They seem more free and allow for a more relaxed and joking personality, but also allow for the saltiness to rise. For these, I love love love the ones where you and sika do them together, you two seem so close and I love watching you have fun together and crack some laughs together. I’m not a fan of the slime kits or spa stuff. That is my own personal preference, I’m more a fan of the crafting kits than the slime kits. I think being an art driven person I more rather that type of content, but no doubt many people still enjoy the slime and spa type kit reviews I’d love to see a video in which you and sika try to sculpt together :0 that would be such an interesting video-

All the Christmas presents I have bought are all wrapped because when I buy them and as soon as I get home, they get wrapped and placed in the correct pile. I do find your reviews very fun, but I also enjoy the crafting videos, particularly where you do an unboxing and then craft with the supplies you received. I like to hear your opinion about the different products and tools. It is really difficult to decide how to evolve your channel and I think for me, I enjoy getting to know the youtuber, seeing what they do and hearing their opinions about things, like on Holly Exley's channel. Glad to hear about your dad. When I can't sleep I tend to watch unboxing videos (usually blind box type) oh and a recent insomnia period was spent seeing if things were 'dope or nope'. So I've enjoyed your recent Japanese figurine unboxing (so want a smelly thing, lol) and the videos where you bought random stuff from Wish. I'd also support the idea of reviewing craft kits aimed for an older audience, with less slime, preferably. Oh and also enjoy it when things like the five minute hacks or crafty things from Instagram are tried and debunked. I also enjoy watching resin projects, especially when you can see what to do with the project/thing that has been created. Also, if I have a spare hour or two, what can I craft? Will it be fun? Guess this links back to craft kits for adults. And finally, so loved the video you did of your trip to Japan, it would be good to see a bit of where you live and what your shops are like too, but then I'm weird, part of the fun of travelling to another country, for me, is to visit the shops... even the grocery stores have odd things, lol. Anyways, thanks for sharing your December with us, please give the birb a scratch on the neck and give the cats some smoothing. Have fun.

While i enjoy your product reviews also, as a resin and clay crafter myself .. i want to see you making all projects w the sophie and toffee kits not just the unboxing. I also loved your youtuber " critiques" as well. You do keep it real and i appreciate the heck out of that and find it hilarious.

Maybe more crafting *challenges*? That way the humor and relaxation is mixed for the ideal vibe! But what do I want to see more of?... You Jackie! I know more grains will come when everyone is more exposed to how wonderful you are. I do really love the videos you do with Sitka. You're a great collaborater. It'd be interesting to see you create content with other KZbinrs, too!

I think you should do favorites of the month or every other month stuff like supplies, artists, even music and games I think it would give people good ideas and open people up to new ideas

I am definitely one that leaves my desk until I am 100% done with the project. Because why clean up and then need to take things out again. You are right about being in a particular mood to watch crafting videos. I watch them when I am myself sculpting or sewing. I do think given your personality, the narration/voiceover in the crafting video is one of your strongest points. Perhaps you could experiment with new mediums or do mixed media. TBH I prefer your vlog channel than the reviews. Most of the items aren't things I am interested in buying anyway, so they don't add any value for me in terms of information. TDLR: Your personality is your strongest asset, so as long as you are narrating or telling a story, I think you can do more crafting videos or do crafting/vlog hybrids

I think art challenges are fun. They can be relaxing and funny. My favorite videos are makeovers and art, but I like the reviews too. Just do what you enjoy.

My favorite videos of yours are any of the ones where you sculpt. I love watching you create. I just found you through your tea-rex video, and I fell in love with your content

What ever you enjoy most is what you should do. If you enjoy what you're doing, we as an audience will notice. It makes a huge and great difference! 😁

To be very serious. I really like all the content you make. But that is because I like you as a person. The content I love most is the crafting video's. I love to see that you begin from nothing and end up with an epic statue. ♡

I LOVE saltecrafter and review videos, especially ones with Sika in them. Please don’t stop doing craft kit reviews like you do now but i will watch anything

I came across your channel via your Tea-Rex Cristine video. Since then, i absolutely love the SaltECrafter reviews. These and the unboxings are my favourite types of videos. A lot of the times I will just autoplay your videos in the background when I am doing other things, and listen to the funnies, both on your livestreams and crafting videos. I do enjoy the crafts you do with polymer clay and resin. I will definitely have to try out the clay-book-cover-thingymajig that you did for a secret santa one of these days. I would definitrly love to see more KZbinr Monsters, i love these creations. I also REALLY enjoyed watching what you did with the water bottle, and would love to see more videos like this, taking something everyone uses and completely making it your own, and giving us ideas on how we can do this ourselves! Oh and definitely more Sika! There always seems to be something really great when you two get together to cause some mischief...

I’d love to see videos of you drawing! And I love your resin content, more resin and maybe where the best places to go get resin supplies for beginners!! I’m also a new viewer/subscriber so if you’ve done videos to do with drawing or resin then I’ll have a fun deep dive into your older videos! I may just binge your channel over the holidays to keep me sane lol!!

Personally I love your crafting videos more. Not that I don't enjoy your kit reviews and THE SALT, because I really just love all of your videos. I don't think I've ever seen any that I didn't enjoy. But I started watching you for your craft videos. Especially the clay and resin crafts, I know you always say "I could improve on this or that" which is wonderful, always improve yourself. But I think what drew me to watch your crafting is how much fun you always have, even if you mess up or get frustrated. Then of course, it's hard to find fellow nerds that enjoy as many different needy things as I do. I would really love to meet and craft with you one day

Honestly I really like the crafting videos. They entertain me, and I really like the crafting challenges. Like when Angel picked your art supplies. That was cool. Also, I hope your dad's healing process goes smoothly and he makes a speedy recover. Best regards, Timothy-Ann
