It's most likely fine for that specific spring, but all it takes is one time not testing for water born illnesses. The doctor just recommends best practice, that's their job. Also, just to give an outside read on the test values, the copper and iron seem to be slightly raised (copper is within the OK range, maybe 0.6, but the Iron looks closer to 0.3)

I mean it makes sense. The older you are the more prone you are to illness and exposed springs are exposed, meaning anything can get into them. It's up to your grandma whether she wants to keep drinking the same water, it'll probably be fine since she would have built up the immunity to germs, but the doctor is required to warn of the risks.

The best water I've ever tasted was my Aunts spring in Ozark County Missouri. She said it was 52 degrees year round, 4th of July, or Christmas day . And she lived to be 94, rest her soul 😔

Chances are if there's any processed ingredients, it will say on the side of the box that it contains a bioengineered ingredient. Why?, the same damn reason. The FDA keeps signing contracts with big Pharma. Why would they do that? To make sure that you get your allowance and daily dose of intentionally placed carcinogens. Grow your own food. Get on the bus, it's leaving real soon. I truly feel sorry for the folks that are not on board.
