Addiction is quite the animal. I've been an alcoholic for almost a decade so I understand the struggle(started at 16). You're making tremendous steps toward getting better by acknowledging your problem and taking inventory of your feelings. The fact that you're trying to stomp it out early is awesome. It's only going to get more difficult with time and age. I highly suggest you find a support group with people around your age. Few are capable of fighting this battle alone and it helps to have a community of people to empathize with. Thanks for sharing! One day at a time, brother.
