I am here to help you, but you have to tell me the truth so I can treat you as fast as possible and get you feeling better. It's ok to be overdosed on drugs or alcohol in an emergency...I WANT you to get long term help; but right now, I just want you to live and recover from the emergency. I know awesome drug, alcohol, and addiction counselors, but they can't even get into the equation until AFTER you've been honest and gotten better from the acute emergency.

Thats just an assumption because they didn't ask and she tell them why. Maybe she did but I didn't hear it from the vid. If he did stay home for the kids its justified because of childcare cost is expensive. Dave when he defends the stay at home mom its because of childcare cost. Anyway let's not forget Dave is traditionalist.

@@lillynumber2 Dave is not in this video and I've heard him defend the man when the woman is a mess. The point is that the man is not the problem here. i don't think these hosts sometimes realize how hypocritical they are on the stay at home dad vs stay at home mom scenarios. This call is a very good example i think: Someone commented on this video that "Dave only advises stay at home moms when their "finances are in order" in agreement with the hosts saying the husband need to get a job. She is making 80k with her current job, with that income their finances are in order so the husband can be a stay at home dad. Her problem is with budgeting and addictions and then the hosts decide one of the solutions is for the husband to get a job. For what! So they can have more money post addiction expenses. They are treating symptoms instead of the problem. The simple fact that they thought the husband getting a job is something that is necessary in this situation highlights their hypocrisy on stay at home dads vs stay at home moms. They don't seem to realize it themselves but they clearly have a different tolerance level for stay at home dads vs a stay at home moms.
