@rignatetris4435 Жыл бұрын
im guessing that lady bluebell was a benign fey spirit. that guided wayward travelers to safety, but when her 'shrines' were disrespected by idiotic citizens, and eventually torn down entirely. she grew angry. especially when she went from being widely celebrated as their mascot. to being almost entirely forgotten. and now she is a spirit of evil, that guides wayard travelers to their deaths deep within the woods. never to be found again. love the story, keep em up.

That's what I was thinking! She was mad that she was disrespected! And now she is getting revenge from everyone. It's crazy to think that she has a vendetta for everyone, not just the people that disrespected her.
@heidiwren7713 Жыл бұрын
@BattlerOfEarth The revenge didn't really begin until they stopped fixing the bells. She's mad at everyone because even those who didn't actively participate abandoned her and are now complacent in the "crime". Fae are not reasonable, they are creatures of emotion, like wild animals. There is a reason that national parks forbid anyone adding or removing cairns (stacks of rocks for marking trails) Yes, that pile of rocks looks neat. No, you shouldn't make one of your own. If you are lost in some national parks and you see a stack of rocks that clearly isn't there by chance, look for a triangular rock poking out as an obvious arrow. That points the way. I am an idiot with my headphones 🎧 (one ear out), and my face buried in my phone while listening to Creepypastas, or watching crap on Netflix, Hulu, etc. As I was walking tonight in the dark I truly thought of your comment and realized how utterly stupid I have been. I think LBB was actually the lovely smiling lady at first who helped them when they were younger, because they loved and celebrated her but due to everything(often there are always a few who spoil good things for many)coming to an end, her sweetness became hatred for being left behind and forgotten? They stopped giving her offerings(the occasional lost person, or maybe food left out in the woods ect), so she had to start actively hunting to get what she needed. Or another theory i thought of is that she was killed out in the woods and the use of the Lady Bluebell system soothed her vengeful spirit(maybe she was hoping someone would stumble across her last place of rest) but when they stopped ringing the bells/talking about the Lady it sparked her rage and desire to kill. Anyways this is a really good short story and I really love it! Might try my hand at drawing a spooky lady of the woods lol

Whenever I see him in the video I'm reminded that he's telling the story but it's in first person and it's obviously not his story so there's a disconnect. Plus, if he's in the video and reading in first person, when he does voices for characters it's like an adult reading a story to children. His casual and calm demeanor while he tells stories that are supposedly trauma inducing horrifying experiences all adds up to losing any and all immersion. Like, the story will begin with a casual and cool tone and end with scared and even shaking voice, but the story itself would've been written after the horrifying things happened. He's a good storyteller, but I feel his audience is maybe 12-14.

So the spirit that they conjured with their Collective belief was helpful as long as they looked to her as benign and helpful, and they cared for her. But when people started changing the bells, removing the blue ribbons, misdirecting people, it perverted her purpose to the point of mistrust, and then finally discontinued the Lady Bluebell all together, and that's the point that she became corrupted? Also, Anya was a pitiable villain. She was just desperate after years of surviving in a nightmare all alone. I wish she had been rescued and the young man, too.

As I have said before in a previous video, I live in a humble home with my lovely wife and my dog. 🐶 I went into the kitchen one day and found a list of rules that must have been left by my wife. It was a list I will never forget and I honestly doubted I could even complete it. The one rule I felt compelled to obey was this…. Clean the kitchen and do the dishes. I soon found myself actually doing the dishes and I swear my dog was horrified because he immediately ran out his doggie door yelping and I haven’t seen him since. I’m not sure if he will ever return home, but I know for sure this was the right thing to do to keep my happy lifestyle I’ve come to enjoy.

Thank you very much for sharing the stories! It takes me right back to childhood, when there were spooky stories on the radio late Saturday nights. Oooooo, it was so exciting and I couldn't sleep of course and mum got mad at me 😂😂.

Thank goodness the forest and I are still friends. My property backs to deep woods and I tell the forest spirits to take good care of me and I send them blessings and respect the wilderness.

Awesome story, and it's interesting from the standpoint of something that was initially viewed as something wonderful like Miss bluebell then later became like a terrible curse later down the line. The reverse can also be said to be true, something veiwed as wonderful an joyous could have a horrifying past in reality. Like Santa Claus for instance ( as bizarre as it may sound, I happen to accidently stumble across this info a few years ago), yes as weird as it sounds, jolly old Santa is not the nice guy we all know him as today. He originated from ancient Babylon mythology, and was known as 'Old Nick". He looked a lot like the santa we know, but the red suit old Nick wore was actually red because it was soaked through with blood, and on his lap where he sat in a throne like chair, sat a large bowl of human hearts of young children, as children was his favourite victims. To say the least when I learned about this mythology, I could never see the Christmas holiday quite the same way again, even though I stopped believing in Santa long before I stumbled across that story, it just goes to show you, not everything is what it seems.
